Easy to use and highly recommended
Bought this for our workplace as the kettle broke, read most of the reviews on here and decided to give it a go. Definitely a good decision. The 2.5 ltr tank was perfect for the 10 staff that need to use it and the machine is the easiest thing they've ever used!Literally turn it on for hot water, let it run for the amount of water you need, then turn it off to stop it...simples.The water is boiling hot, whereas some machines are set to a lower temperature. Some reviews mention the water tank leaking...this will happen if you DONT secure the water tank onto the little tab at the top on the back of the machine, you must hook it on so it sits flush against the back of the machine. We bought a water jug to refill the machine rather than keep removing the tank, this works well for us.The water does comes out at a slow speed yes, this suits us as it brews the tea whilst its releasing the water :-)With regards to the comments about a plastic taste...we ran 2 1/2 FULL tanks of water through the machine, NOT a few cups. Clean the actual water tank with warm soapy water first, rinse it thoroughly, then run 2 and half full tanks through the machine, yes this take a little bit of time but it is worth it. We have not had a plasticy taste in any of our drinks at all.All in all, absolutely no problems whatsoever and very very pleased with the machine and so are the staff, highly recommended for personal or work use.

Great product
Very pleased with this product. I was a little wary about buying it as I couldn't find any reviews about it but reviews of other similar dispensers weren't great so I took a chance. I'm so glad I did. I bought it for my 90-yr old mum and she loves it. It's much safer for her than trying to handle a heavy contemporary kettle. The water is hot enough for her to make her leaf tea (which normally needs boiling water). It takes only seconds to reach temperature. Although the water doesn't run through very quickly it is perfect for her as it gives her 'thinking time', allowing her to be able to switch it off safely. Mum normally has problems learning new things but she had no problems at all with this. She can fill the tank using a jug but it also has the facility to remove the tank to be filled at the sink. Fitting the tank back in place seemed a bit tricky at first but it didn't take long to figure out how. The tank is clear plastic so the level of water can easily be seen from any angle. It also has measurements on the side with a min and max water level - it would be better to have this on both sides, but that is only a minor criticism. A nice blue light comes on when the water is coming through. I suppose it's a good safety feature though it makes the drink look a bit peculiar!

Always ready for a brew
Brought this for work, it saves user time, water and energy, it only boils what is using and when you work in a charity building this helps haha, Easy to use and maintain, large capacity tanl mean you dont need to top up after 2-3 cups, its going for up to 10. great for a small office or a large family.

So Good I bought one for a friend too!
This is one of the best purchases I have made in a long time! I wanted an instant hot water dispenser but not at the prices of those hot water taps and this fitted the bill. I have had this for nearly a yearPro's :-Saves you boiling water and wasting it, as it only ever boils what you need, You have to switch it off when you have the required amount. You don't have to wait for it to boil, which also comes in handy for cooking if I want a bit of hot water to let down a sauce or boil some vegatables. It's safer and easier than picking up a kettle full of hot water.Has clear water container, so easy to see if it needs refilling (I keep a jug handy) But you can lift the reservoir up and take it to the tap if you wish.Con's (Depending on your point of view) :-If you forget to switch it off when your cup is full it will over run, but I stand mine on a tray and hardly ever forget, the trick is to stand there for the 30 seconds or so that it takes to fill a mug, which to be honest is easily filled by putting in a teabag and getting the milk etc.I occasionally run diluted white vinegar through 2 or 3 times (allowing to cool in between times) to clean/de-scale, but in the year I've owned it only done this twice and only then because I feel its no good waiting until its 'limescaled up'Conclusion:-I would buy it again and did buy one as a wedding present, Friends and Family have admired it and at the price I think its great value for money.

Great for mum... But leaking
Perfect at first. My disabled elderly mum was struggling with the kettle and thought this was amazing! I fill it each day and the huge tank lasts until I refill the next day. But had some leakage tonight so kettle is reinstated until I'm sure it's stopped. Watch this space....

So far so good.
Quest 34060 Benross Instant Hot Water DispenserSo far so good. Takes the water to a high enough temperature to make a good cup of tea. Our mugs are half a litre so yes we have to fill the machine more often than if we used an ordinary cup but that's OUR choice. It takes just under a 1 minute to fill my mug which is fine if you accept the fact that the flow is slow because it ONLY boils the water needed and if the flow was faster then the temperature would not be sufficient to brew tea properly - it's a trade off, but hey all life is a compromise. It's probably not so good if there's a half dozen of you. waiting but for 2 people it's great. As soon as you turn off the flow it stops so no drips into the drip tray. There is 1 minor problem you can pop the kettle on and then, for example, go to the loo. You CAN'T with this because it's not an automatic switch - you have to manually switch it on and then off when your cup is full. It's an attractive bit of kit and performs well, what more can I ask?

It’s okay
This is a good unit but there was things like the water flow that wasn’t consistent and compared to other units, I think this could be improved. The water is hot, but did experience sometime that the initial drops of water before it flows was cold. It’s okay but no what I expected in terms of actual flow of water from the unit.
