Leaving this review as I am just about to repurchase. I bought my first bottle in July 2018 (lasted over 2 years!) and have been using it on my nails every 2-3 weeks (along with the IBD dehydrator). I used to have problems with lifting before I bought this - no lifting/chipping whatsoever! My gels don’t come off until I remove them, which is the way it should be. I’ve seen some other reviewers have had some issues but that’s probably to do with technique. Dehydrator - use as much as you want Powerbond - use sparingly. If there is too much on the nail plate or if it gets on your skin, gel product will start to flood around the cuticle area/lateral nail fold and you’ll have to clean up the area before you cure and it can be time consuming

This item is really great because it really works. Throughout the years I've tried so many different primers and all of them would let my gel to stay on the nails for couple of days only and then it would start peeling off. This thing creates miracles. There is only one downfall - my nail, after taking the gel with primer off, were paper thin and in many places layers of natural nails would be peeling off. So it's called Dehydrator and that's what it does. It also called a bonder and it really bonds. Overall brilliant item for someone who wants his gels to stay on the nails for longer that they'd usually get.

I was using hard gel so i could grow my nails but occasional a nail would ‘ping’ off so I purchased this and its made the world of difference. Since then I’ve started to use Acrylic and do full extensions, so now i use this as part of my ‘Prep & Prime’ (this step is the ‘Primer’). It’s a great product that can be used with all nail systems. I think I’m going to use it on clients who have trouble with Gel polish lasting too...

I’ve used this product for years and it’s the best on the market. I’ve recently run out and I was been trying to find the best deal, surprising it wasn’t my trade store, it was Amazon! Bargain to say it’s usually at least £16 elsewhere.

Works for some people, but not for me .. never had liftings , i use other product on other people and they stays without any faults... with IBD bonder , my nails are horribly lifting, even i do quality job and always has been. Maybe not suitable for everyone

WARNING** it’s pretty strong stuff so always do a tester on skin before hand. Anyway ... Marvellous stuff. Worth it if you are into doing gel polish using normal uv polishes but specifically this product is a MUST when using builder gels/ acrylics. I tried for a few months without it and within days my gels/ infills/extensions were lifting off. I bought primer and that didn’t cut it. This bonder works a treat. Now I have my nails on until I am ready to take them off. Plus IBD have tutorials and how to videos online and on YouTube so it’s easy to pick up tips and tricks. This stuff will last me for donkeys years !

un peu cher mais ce n'est pas une petite bouteille elle va vous servir longtemps sauf si vous êtes aussi maladroit(e)s que moi ! très efficace le meilleur que j'ai acheté pour l'instant. les ongles tiennent et ne se décollent pas. je l'utilise avant tout gel pour crée des faux ongles ou alors si je ne mets pas gel et que je veux juste du vernis permanent je le mets en dessous et le vernis semi permanent tient très bien

This is a product that I never knew anything about until a girlfriend did my nail. I use IBD products but I didn’t know this product. I couldn’t figure out why she wasn’t putting them under the light(LED) and she said “no no no! That is why people who don’t know how to use something shouldn’t even buy it! Makes me crazy, but you will love this and I know you’ll buy it to add to your collection! This product loan makes you want to wear nails and not wait for them to grow out because it makes it that easy to use your gel X press on nails! FIRST OFF…..apply a THIN coat of PowerBond and let it AIR DRY BEFORE you move on to the gel application or adding your Gel X nails.” You do not put this under the lights (LED OR UV) You MUST let this product AIR dry before you use gel, gel polish, or any acrylic applications. Once you get the hang of that you go onto the next steps just like normal and because it can be used with gel and acrylic. It’s kind of like getting two for one, especially if you use both and are able to go back-and-forth or if you have clients that Like gel or like acrylic…. You don’t have to buy two products when you can just buy one. Well, it does work best with other IBD products I have found it works well with any other line so I don’t feel like I have to have everything in IBD. This product promotes maximum adhesion and helps to ensure long lasting wear, other products SAY they do that but THIS ONE DOES!!! Powerbond can also be used in place of traditional primers and bonders for use with hard gel and acrylic so you REALLY DO have a 2 in 1 product that WORKS no matter which brand you use. Don’t hesitate in trying this it’s worth it. It really is make sure that you keep it in a dark area and close the lid tight because one day I was in a hurry and I left the lid a little bit open and I had to use pliers to get the lid open and then pick off the dried Bond so I could put the lid back on properly. No bond was harmed in my thoughtlessness! 😉 I really like this product because it does have more than one use and anytime I can find something that is a multi use product so it can take up less space I’m all over it. I am a fan of IBD first and foremost but it works well with Didier as well as other names that’ll come to mind. I have not tried it with regular nail polish because I do only use gel so I can’t speak to that myself however for what it is and what it does and the size of the bottle and how little you use it lasts a long time as long as you keep the lid on tight and start it in a dark place. I actually found an old jewellery dresser and I keep all my nail stuff in there. It’s quite a smell when I open the door but everything’s there at my fingertips no pun intended, and of course I reach for this one right off the bat. It may seem pricey, but when you have a great product, isn’t it worth paying the money if it saves you time and it works because it adheres so well, you’ll get more aware out of doing your nails once with this product then you would with anything else and having to do it twice. Apply a thin coat of PowerBond and let air dry prior to gel application. Once you use this start collecting your IBD products because they really are worth every penny. Between these and my other favorite, I’d choose these first all day long. You don’t need a ton of everything as it lasts a long time so this is the dehydrator and then YOUR base coat topcoat of course the colour in there somewhere and you are set. This really is the product and as far as I’m concerned, it’s fine for 2024/2025! * try the IBD lavender cuticle oil!!! THAT is a smell you will love and everyone needs to remember that if your cuticles are ick, so are your nails so look after them ALL! That first photo is my nails and the second and third are my GF who has used this IBD Powerbond much longer than I have!!! (YES, she did my nails as I am NOT that good at it YET! Practice makes perfect!)
