"ALWAYS ONLY YOU" IS A GENTLY WOVEN DREAM 🥺❤️
I genuinely don't know where should I even begin to talk about a book which made me feel so, so deeply that I ended up sobbing endlessly, melting into a puddle of happy tears, smiling with all of my heart and floating amidst clouds. 🥺🥺❤️❤️Ren and Frankie's story is unbelievably close to my heart and it'll always be. It's one of THE most beautiful, heartfelt, meaningful, breathtaking, thoughtful and endearing novels EVER! It'll tug at your heart strings, touch your soul and make you fall head over heels in love with every single character. Reading it feels like being enveloped in the most tender, safe, soul warming and fuzzy embrace. One which shields you from the cold and makes you feel loved. Please give their story a try, I bet you'll want to be a part of the Bergman family once it's over and give each and every person a big bear hug. Ren, Frankie, Pazza and their beautiful Bergman family will feel like your own in no time. *PROTECT* 😭😭😭😭 PS. Once you start reading Chloe Liese novels, there's no going back. She spoils her readers with the most mesmerizing and meaningful metaphors, deep, heartfelt, everlasting, memorable and unbelievably precious lines which leave an impact on you forever and characters who nurture an affectionate and forever home in your heart. So much so that you'll hate to call them characters by the end of the story. They'll be a part of you. I promise. ✨✨

4.5 stars ⭐
This is the first book I read written by Chloe Liese and the whole #ownvoices storyline was incredible. Soren Bergman is a professional hockey player but he comes from a Swedish family who are more into soccer. He is practically the black sheep but that doesn't mean he's loved any less by his family. He was such a great son and brother. He was shy, wierd, nerdy but adorkable! He loved Shakespeare and wasn't afraid to show his emotions- that was the one thing I loved about him the most."What a terrifying possibility, to find yourself so attracted to someone you can’t help but love them."The book contains a grump-sunshine trope but this is a bit different since usually, the guy is portrayed to be grumpy but here our girl, Francesca Zeferino is a bit of a grump. This part was really refreshing to read and I was instantly captivated when I read the blurb.“Søren.” I scrub my face. He’s right, and I don’t want to admit it. “You’re being high-handed.” “Francesca. You’re being stubborn.”Frankie (as she likes to be called) is the social media marketer for Ren's hockey team and Ren has got it bad for her since the moment her met her and they have known eachother since three years. But Frankie is hiding her autism and it's getting harder for her to let Ren in."Show people who you really are, and you get the absolute thrill of knowing they love you for you."Frankie was a bit of a boss girl. She was strong, independent, caring, bold and headstrong. She was on the autism spectrum and also had rheumatoid arthritis so she carries a cane around with her and is dressed in suits. Frankie thought that she was really grumpy, rude and uncaring but that is just one of her insecurities because, the way she managed the team players was remarkable. Even if she thought she didn't care, her actions showed how concerned she got when even one of them was harmed.“You’re dangerous, Francesca.” I smile down at him and pat his back. “’Bout time you figured that out.”Ren was the total opposite of Frankie and he was a literal sunshine who was always smiling anda total goofball. He was so sweet, patient, understanding, protective and gentle. Both their characters had a lot of depth and vulnerability. The supporting characters (especially Ren's family) were really amazing and I loved every single one of them especially Lo & Annie. Also, Ren's teammates were so supportive, I loved that they formed the Shakespeare club along with Ren and accepted him with his slightly wierd side! The one thing I liked about this book was that how much more I could understand autism and its impact in real life. I really admired Frankie because of how she handled the challenges she faced while working and socializing, alone. Frankie and Ren were adorable and the pace of their relationship was slowly but gradual. The sports part in the story was detailed and it wasn't boring. As Ren plays ice hockey, it was good to get to know that aspect of his life. Overall, I really liked the book and I would definitely read more from Chloe Liese in the future.

Beautiful Emotional Own Voices Romance <3
(Voluntarily reviewed an eARC of the book on For The Love of Fictional Worlds)A beautiful, absolutely heartwarming slow burn #ownvoices romance that will give you all the feels and absolutely have you dying for more from the author – if you haven’t heard about Chloe Liese, then your romance TBR is missing on something very special.Chloe Liese put herself on my watch list when I requested the first book in her Bergman Brother series – Only When It’s Us (read My Review) – but this second book, Always Only You, stands alone and is definitely enjoyable if you pick it up first!Always Only You is Ren Bergaman’s story – a hockey player with a penchant for non – violence, Shakespearean curses and an unrequited love for the Social Media Manager of their team. He is adorable, smexy, and absolutely charming; and I could see right from the start why the author brought them together.Frankie, our resident PR Guru and a woman who is autistic and suffers from arthritis – she takes jokes literally, is a pro at handling the men in the team with and walks with a cane. She is amazing, intelligent and is also insecure about her own issues that she believes makes her a burden on her loved ones. She has a crush on Ren; though it will be ages before she actually admits that she has caught feelings for the captain of the team – but slowly but surely they make their friendship beyond the ice rink – and it was a delight to see both of them grow beyond their friendship and into what they were meant to be.But most of all, it was empowering to see Frankie move beyond what could be considered a debilitating combination by most of the society; though what do the society even know. And Ren, I can even begin to describe the amazing hero Ren is; he is patient, kind, not because he believes that Frankie needs the extra care; but because that is who he is; and that is who Frankie wants! This might be considered a New Adult Romance considering that both the MCs are in college – the themes are mature and smouldering enough to have me blush while reading it. We get a deeper glimpse into the Bergman clan; and I am so excited to see where the author takes the next Bergman on a journey to!

So perfect and so much representation
Tropes:- workplace (in a sense)- he falls first (and so hard)- Autism rep (own voices story)- sports romance (professional hockey)As an Autistic female, reading this book was an absolute joy. It was refreshing to read a book with an Autistic female mc who felt so much like me. I loved that Frankie didn't have major dating hang-ups that she blamed on her diagnosis. Obviously, (as many Autistics do) she felt like a burden to those she loved and was afraid to accept the love she deserves but she was open to it and excited about meeting someone. That being said, I think Frankie is the best autistic mc I have ever read. She felt so relatable and I appreciated reading about someone who suffers from some of the many co-morbidities that Autistics encounter. Additionally, I REALLY appreciate that she wasn't just another Autistic mc in a STEM job. In fact, her comments about observing how other people engage with social media and how that helps her to do her job was relatable and refreshing.Watching her character growth and learning to accept the love she deserves was so beautiful."And for the first time in too many years, I know that I'm loved for exactly who I am."Now on to Ren.One of the biggest fears that so many Autistics have in relationships (not just romantic ones) is people "falling in love" with our masks and not us. The fear of losing someone we care about because they start to see us unmasked is exhausting and consumes so much of our mental energy. I was terrified that something like this would happen with Ren, especially considering how long he has liked her from afar. It was so beautiful to see him fall in love with her even more, support her when she wants it (and sometimes when she's afraid to admit she needs it) and love her unconditionally. Thank you, Chloe Liese, for giving all of us hopeless romantic Autistics some hope.Ren was one of my favorite book boyfriends to date and I LOVE his family. The Bergmans have this chokehold on me and they are not letting go any time soon.At the end of the day, I loved this book. It was a joy to read and I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone looking for a strong Autistic mc and/or the most beautiful family bond.

An absolute delight
cw: autoimmune disease, autism, depression, bullying Frankie Zeferino is the In-Game Social Media Coordinator for the LA Kings. Ren Bergman is the star forward for the team and has secretly been besotted with Frankie from the day he met her. With a no-fraternization clause, he's biding his time.Ren is every bit as adorable as Ryder Bergman, but well, he's also a hockey player, which is my ultimate weakness. Add in his adorable sunshine personality and nerdy obsession with Shakespeare, and I was absolutely done for. Frankie is sassy, seemingly grumpy, and pining for the ginger cinnamon roll/Viking god. I loved that both her autism and her rheumatoid arthritis were written sensitively and realistically, as well as including the side effects of having an autoimmune disease. I particularly loved her friendships with Lo and Ren's sister, Ziggy. I also loved seeing more of the rest of the Bergman's, as well as catching up with Ryder and Willa (and applauded Willa's speech about a certain RL person 😉). There's also a few intriguing plot set-ups for the rest of the series. But it's Ren and Frankie's love story that shines brightest in this book. They are just so stinking cute together, and I loved their development as a couple. The intimacy was particularly beautiful but still steamy. I also adored their easy banter throughout, and I want to join Ren's Shakespeare club! I now have a new favourite cinnamon roll hockey book boyfriend. Another absolute delight of a story. Overall Rating: ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️Heat Rating: 🔥🔥Emotional Rating: 🙈😍😉👏🏻💓🥰😂🙈💓😍🥰💓😭💔💓🙈💓💔👏🏻💓🥰

Still. SWOONING!
Ohhh, this book! I’m still swooning. We have a grumpy-sunshine trope, and our hero is the ‘sunshine’. Ren, the third of the Bergman bunch, is a sweet, cinnamon roll with red hair and beard... and a publicly declared Love of Shakespeare *swoons*.For years, Ren has been secretly in love with his team’s Social Media Coordinator, Frankie. He’s been waiting for the right moment to confess his feelings, but when unusual circumstances bring Frankie under Ren’s roof, he might need to change his plans *double swoons*.Want more reason to swoon? Frankie, our heroine, is ITALIAN! She calls Ren zenzero (ginger, awww); her dog is called pazza (crazy, lol); and Ren thinks that Italian is a “Sexy Romance Language”!I never feel myself represented in romance books (I think this is maybe the second time that I come across an Italian heroine), so this is huge for me. Frankie’s Catholic jokes cracked me up, and her Harry Potter Love was the cherry on the cake.Frankie is also autistic, and struggles with arthritis; and though she is, as I said, unapologetically herself, letting Ren -and his family- love her for exactly who she is, that’s a whole different story. I loved reading Ren and Frankie’s journey to trust, acceptance and love, and this book hit me deep.I am in love with Chloe Liese at this point and am definitely reading book 3, as well!
