Q: What do these offer that the Aftershokz Titanium doesn't? I'm looking at purchasing, and trying to work out the cost difference.

Their differences are as follows: TREKZ: Bluetooth V4.1/Titanium Headband Polycarbon Ear Hook/Weight 36g Air: Bluetooth V4.2/Full Titanium/Weight 30g I hope it can help you.

Q: Are these good for audiobooks and spoken word podcasts while running & cycling?

Maybe for running (I don't run). Absolutely not for cycling - wind and traffic noise render them useless. I returned mine as I bought them to listen to audiobooks while cycling in London. Pointless. I could only hear about 50% of the book.

Q: What about the sound quality when making phone calls? Has anybody experience with this? Can the person you are calling with hear you well?

Being a lead group rider and having a assistant at the back, these have been a godsend as to communicating on larger group rides. Double tap and last number redial meant we could stay in communication when needed. I also frequently make business calls with these and have no complaints so far. Been wearing them since September 2019, purchased at the Cycle Show NEC
