Does anyone know where i can find an adapter to connect this to my vacuum?

we have various adaptors available, the outlet is 22mm so you will need depending on the size of the vacuum inlet one of the below or maybe both. Part number 192349-3 - 22mm up to 25mm Part number P-72936 - 25mm up to 32mm 33mm up to 38mm.

Does it throw dust all over the place like the corded one does.

Hello I also have a corded orbital sander and I find the dust problem from this Makita cordless tool only marginally better. That said, most of these sanders will only collect up to 30% of the dust produced - I would recommend the Makita product.
