Clover 1045/G Amour Crochet Hook: 4.0mm, Metal, Multicoloured, 4mm

I’ve always worked with generic sets with silicone bodies. I bought this one because of a project with a very particular kind of yarn that needed all the glide in the world. I was recommended to try a Clover hook and… wow. The glide is different, there’s something in the texture of the metal that makes it gentler. The grip is on point, and although I’ve never had an issue with generics’s silicone grips, I can see this hook being more ergonomic. All in all, very impressed.

I'm slowly replacing my cheaper hooks that I purchased when I started crocheting during the first lockdown. They are very comfortable to use and glide so smoothly through the yarn. They're helping me to crochet faster too.

This hook has really improved my tension and helps prevent hand cramping. I like that the back is rounded but there’s a flat part for your thumb. Most comfortable I’ve found and I’ve tried around 10 brands.

Well, I've been crocheting for 10 years. Over that time I that I'd gotten pretty good at it. Then I discovered these hooks... My crochet work has just gone way up another level. Yes, these hooks are the best. I don't know what it is that they do to the metal hook bit, but it slides through ANY yarn with an almost magical ease. My only complaint is that I didn't know about these a lot sooner. 😀

Totally amazing... This must be coated in magic fairy dust... It just glides effortlessly through the stitches (even when you have to pull yarn through 6 stitches at once there is no snagging/ pulling etc). This is such a pleasure to crochet with compared to the cheaper hooks. After only 20 minutes with this hook i am already considering a change of career to be a professional crocheter! 🤪

the Clover brand are always so well made. I would love a whole set of these crochet hooks!, well worth the money to be able to crochet comfortably without aching hands.

Super comfortable to hold for long crochet sessions and the tip is super smooth and yarn glides over it

Nice shape has good grip as fingers not so agile. Tried a bamboo one but it was too thin for me.
