Packed it with a 4kg exercise ball surrounded by old towels. Works very well. NB the bag is for practicing swing techniques and should not be hit with maximum force. It will split!

I gave this a four star review, because although I'm a great fan of SKLZ equipment, I have one minor complaint......this has to be the loudest smash bag ever. It does the job and appears to be tough and well made, which is all really you can say. It is designed with a specific goal in mind and will do far less damage than the old school idea of whacking tyres. The loop at the back which allows you to pin it down with a old shaft is a nice touch and the top opening to fill is good, whether the zip will last long term is yet to be seen.

I don't normally write reviews as I do not think it is necessary to report on products that do what they are intended to do, but in this instance I am so disappointed with the product I feel I have to let potential purchasers know of my experience.I needed something to improve the impact position in my golf swing, so I decided a good way to achieve this would be by using an impact bag.The stand out comment was that after a few swings/days use the stitching would come apart. I thought that the one star users were using the bag incorrectly and trying to hit the bag down the fairway rather than half swings to 'feel' the impact position. So I chose to ignore these reviews as I did not think these would be a true reflection of the product, but as I thought the concept was good I went ahead and purchased one.So I ordered the SKLZ Smash Bag and waited for delivery. A couple of days later the bag arrived, I packed the bag with old blankets and I started practicing my new found impact position. After 10-12 half swings I went to pick up the bag and this is when I realised I had bought a lemon.The handle of the bag came away from the side and the zipper came off the zip, so now I cannot carry the bag by the handle and I cannot unzip the bag. I then looked over the rest of the bag and noticed the seam at the bottom of the bag (under the impact target) had come undone. So after 5 minutes use the bag is no longer fit for purpose.I was so incensed at the quality of the product I threw it straight in the bin.If you are looking for an impact bag please do not waste your money on this product as it does not last as long as it should.

Love this bag, used it for a number of months and still holding up well.

The product seems good quality. Haven't used that much due to the noise it makes on impact.It is very noisy!

I experienced the same issues as several have previously recorded; namely splitting of the base seam. The return process was extremely efficient and a replacement issued immediately, for which many thanks.I have reinforced the stitching of the base to the side panel below the hit area, of the replacement bag. I have taken care to use the holes created by the original seam stitching and doubling up of waxed thread. I have also made sure that the bag is thoroughly packed with towels and old cloths. I did so with the original item but more so with the replacement.......so far so good.I would suggest that the bag is kept dry, dampness is likely to impair the robustness of thread.
