Pretentious
OMG hope you have your graduate degree on hand. It's a headache to read... I mean, absolutely not enjoyable at all.Doctor Whoever the Hell really gets his use out of his word of the day calendar.

Great book, but...
There was some kind of sticky substance on the front cover and a crease in the back cover. Other than that, I'm happy. But a brand new book shouldn't be in this condition.

Poor quality, but good content
This is an abridged reprint of an early text in coca from the late 19th century, so the language is a little odd at times, and some of the info has been contradicted by more recent science, but the sections on cultivation environment are very helpful if you’re trying to grow one of these little guys yourself. The quality of the text is a little disappointing though. You can tell someone just ran a PDF through OCR software but didn’t bother to include Spanish characters and did little to no editing. Errors like “montaiia” for “montaña” occur on pretty much every page. This is especially annoying when the author provides the Spanish or Quechua word for something and you can’t tell if it’s misspelled or just an oddly-spelled word spelled correctly. But overall, worth the purchase, especiallyGiven the dearth of books available on this subject matter.
