Gorgeous
This is a powerful round-up of all of Christina Aguilera's original hits plus reworkings of two of them plus new tracks. I say new and of course this is no longer a new collection ... but what has La Aguilera done since? All the stuff you know is on here. These songs are nearly all high-points in her career, with only "I turn to you" - unfortunately not a cover of Mel C's techno dance hit - as a duff moment. I even like the duet with Ricky Martin. Outstanding of course are Genie in a Bottle, Beautiful, Hurt and Candyman. The reworkings of Genie and Beautiful are surprisingly good too.Her voice is uniformly strong, possibly a little over wrought in places. Like Mariah Carey. Beautiful is an important song, a plea for tolerance and understanding as well as to motivate those feeling oppressed by their situation or sexuality. There aren't many important songs on the planet, so its worth buying just for that!If you're looking for one album by Aguilera, as I was, this budget collection is the one to go for - value for money and stunning music quality and singing like no other.

Love all the tracks
The CD has a few marks on ut but still plays OK but the case had most of the centre tines missing so the CD was floating around in the case. (probably how the scratches happened?)

A beautiful collection
What a cracking hits collection from a modern day diva.Christina Aguilera sings with fiest, attitude and compassion.from debut hit genie in a bottle, continuing the classy pop of; What a girl wants,Candy man,Ain't no other man,Dirty.to the ballads; Nobody wants to be lonely (duet with Ricky martin) and the moving and sublime Beautiful. The much covered Lady marmalade,(with collaborators) is also included.A decade of hits: Keeps getting better,is an appropriate title and an excellent collection of hits by CA.subsequent hits ie: Moves like jagger with Maroon five have been achieved since the release of decade of hits, but time doesn't stand still you know - and this release is an excellent retrospective of the shrinking violet (only joking) - Christina Aguilera.N.B. total cost of this package was £1.39 - unbeliveable value.

EXCELLENT SELECTION OF HITS FROM THE SCREECHER
Warning, there are at least 3 versions of this, AMAZON HAS PUT ALL THE REVIEWS TOGETHER. one has 20 tracks, another has 17 tracks, which is actually the one I was sent, however the missing 3 tracks do not bother me all that much as they are less well known, plus there is a CD/DVD issue. My reason for the 3 stars is that C A has a somewhat unpleasant voice, she always sounded a bit screechy on TV with her high notes, but on my decent stereo, OMG, instead of her sounding better, my system exacerbated the situation greatly. There is no doubt CA is a serious singer with a decent range and powerful voice, but tonally in the upper registers unpleasant. She is also well respected by some people who can sing, unless it is just a way to earn even more money, for instance she has sung with Tony Bennett who sounds fine on my system even though he is of great age..If you must have CA in your collection, any version is well recommended.

The Voice is back!
Christina is without a doubt the voice of our generation. Here she releases her greatest hits along with a collection of her finest videos. The main singles such as Genie In A Bottle and Dirty are on there but some of her big UK hits like Can't Hold Us Down and Car Wash aren't. Neither are Tilt Ya Head Back or Reflection. Her break through single. But it's still a must have. Keeps Getting Better see's Christina return to her pop roots while You Are What You Are, while lets say. Daring. Is a taster of what's to come with her new album, due for release in Summer 2009.

Great collection, but the DVD misses much!
I don't know what's going on with Christina and her spot in the music industry, since she never got the same attention from the media as in the past. She doesn't go on tour anymore, not many singles and music videos...maybe her "lights" came down, who knows? What I can say is that this Collection is a pop-must-have album in anybody's collection! The CD comes with new songs and also with a DVD of her 10 greatest videos. The selection is great, but what happened to the other videos, such as NOBODY WANTS TO BE LONELY, with Ricky Martin??? She doesn't have only 10!!!!!

Great introduction to a great artist.
I heard Christina Aguilera's name several times, but still didn't know who she was. Then in May, I finally heard a full song of hers (Ain't No Other Man) online. After browsing her albums and the many version of KGB on Amazon, I finally decided to buy this and Bionic (Clean). This was indeed a great introduction to the woman that is Christina Aguilera. "Fighter", "Hurt", "Come On Over Baby (All I Want Is You)", and "Beautiful" among others show her true vocal talent."Genie In A Bottle" - her first #1 is about Christina wanting a boy to rub her the right way. Even with that in mind, it's not as explicit as it may sound."What A G irl Wants" - this song is DEFINITELY what a g irl wants. Or at least what I want. Christina thanks her date for knowing exactly what she wants and needs."I Turn To You" - a great cover. Christina talks about turning to the person she likes in times of need."Come On Over Baby (All I Want Is You)" is about Christina wanting a boy to come over and "play that game" with her. It's NOT the radio version, so the F word isn't censored."Ven Conmigo (Solamente Tú)" is the Spanish version of "Come On Over Baby (All I Want Is You)"."Falsas Esperanzas" is another Spanish song. I don't speak Spanish, so I don't know what it's about, but it's a great rhythm."Lady Marmalade(feat. P!nk, Mya, and Lil' Kim)" is a soundtrack hit, for the soundtrack of Moulin Rouge."Dirrty (feat. Redman)" - one of those songs where the title pretty much gives away everything. This song is all about starting a party at the club and getting "dirrty"."Fighter" is a very upbeat self-empowering song. It's all about Christina breaking up with someone who caused her lots of pain, but in the end made her so much stronger. Definitely a song to listen to after a bad break-up."Beautiful" is, well, beautiful. It's all about loving who you are, no matter what anybody else says. If you're ever upset or feeling down about yourself, listen to this."Ain't No Other Man" - another song where the title gives it away. All about Christina loving a boy so much that there's no other man for her. (Then why does she have "lovers from past AND present tense"? ;))"Candyman" is like Christina's version of "Sugar, Sugar". It's all about a boy she thinks is as sweet as candy."Hurt" is about the loss of a loved one. Will make you cry if you've ever lost someone before."Genie 2.0" is a very different version of her #1 hit, "Genie In A Bottle". I think the original is better, but you'll be the judge of that."Keeps Gettin' Better" is where Christina talks about some days being a super witch (although that's not the word she uses), then other days being this person's super g irl. And it keeps gettin' better."Dynamite" - basically a song where Christina wants her special someone to "electrify her all night", because "she won't fight"."You Are What You Are (Beautiful)" is a different version of "Beautiful". Not as powerful as the original, it experiments with her lower range, but still very beautiful. If you're looking for a good introduction to Christina Aguilera, definitely look here. Also listen to "Can't Hold Us Down (feat. Lil' Kim)" which was left out of this CD but was a great hit.

Christina Definitely "Keeps Gettin' Better".
Since you all know the songs in this album, except for the newer tracks in the end, I am going to make this as concise as possible and only talk about the newer tracks.Genie 2.0 - Fantastic version of Genie In A Bottle. Love the arrangement, and I love Christina's maturer voice several years after releasing the first version of this song. I was hooked on the song when it was released, and I still play it from time to time because it's awesome.Dynamite - Fantastic song. Love the rhythm and the music. Love the lyrics. Christina is dynamite. You Are What You Are (Beautiful) - This new version of the song "Beautiful", rather than getting you all melancholic and making you remember all the times you've been rejected just because of who you are, it gives you goosebumps, like the score of a horror movie. But it's AWESOME!!The only thing that disappointed me about this "Greatest Hits" album is that they omitted "Can't Hold Us Down" and I don't know why because it's a wonderful song and it deserved to be on the album because it was indeed one of her greatest hits. It is the anthem of us women around the world. GO CHRISTINA!!
