very strong and functional tool

Good quality makes it very easy to remove clips although panels/plastic trims. Good value for money perfect size.

Good quality. Although I did grind the forks down a bit, (from the topside not the bottom in order to retain a clean smooth base) which helped it fit under very tight domed furniture tacks. So far it has performed well and still going strong after removing over a hundred tacks, without damaging the furniture.

This product is usable and it takes a little bit of a knack to know how best to get the most out of it. Because of the thickness of the tip it is difficult to insert under flush tacks. In order to get under the tack I resorted to using a sharp screwdriver to lever up a 1mm, then having done this on a whole load of tacks I then used the tool to quickly pull out the tacks. For me this shouldn't be needed, the tool should be sharp enough to initiate the pull. Before I established my method, described above, I was putting a lot of pressure on the tool trying to get under suborn tacks, not only did this result in blisters but also, one clumsy slip resulted in the tool embedded into the end of my thumb, now that was painful and messy! I had to super glue the injury to save myself from stitches. For the above reasons I only give three stars as the tool is strong and robust, however it doesn't make tack removal as easy as it should be.

Easy to use and gets the job done

Buscaba una herramienta para sacar clavos y tachuelas de sillas de comedor, una labor ardua dado que se trata de sillas de los 40's donde no usaban ni tirafondos ni grapas..., solo clavos y más clavos..., sacar cinco o veinte con un destornillador puede ser abordable, pero con una media de ochenta por silla no era una opción. Esta herramienta de sencilla es muy buena, entra muy bien debajo de la cabeza de los clavos para poder tirar de ellos, si son cortos con la misma herramienta si son largos con otros utensilios (pata de cabra, alicantes, tenazas, martillo, etc.). Quizá si mejorasen el mango sería más agradable al uso continuo. He visto que en solo dos meses desde que lo compré ha casi duplicado el precio..., vaya, y yo que pensaba comprar otro...

Affordable tack remover. Slips under the staples on chairs very easily. Don't know why I waited so long. Arrived quickly to Australia and feels sturdy in the hand for a reasonable price.

Excellente qualité, rigidité, dimensions, prise en main par un manche assez large et non-glissant. En 1 ou 2 gestes, un clou de tapissier est retiré. Je n'aurai pas l'occasion de l'utiliser longtemps, mais cet outil m'inspire toute confiance.
