Bought to play on a new 3DS when flying to Hong Kong with British Airways. Worked perfectly and kept me playing throughout. Was also good to be able to charge via my laptop as there was only one UK socket on the wall of the hotel. To note there is no data connectivity between the DS and the PC, not that I expected it. The connectors are strong and keep in place on both the USB socket and DS charging socket.

Really I'm not sure why a DS charging cable would ever need to be gold plated. But the idea of high quality cabling for such a mundane purpose amuses me so it gets bonus points regardless. Other than that? It works, it's long, alright quality outer. Lives in my bag along with my phone wire for charing my DS at work after playing it on the bus all morning. Can't really go wrong with this purchase. Unless Nintendo decide to change all their ports again for stupid proprietary reasons.

The official chargers for Nintendo 3DS consoles can be expensive, and they are almost always hard wired into a plug socket. This charger was a brilliant price, but the quality is really very good -- it certainly doesn't feel like it will break any time soon. Now, the real plus point with this cable is it is a standard USB on the other end -- I charged my 3DS in my XBOX One's UBS plug the first time, and hasve since used it with iPad and iPhone wall chargers -- it just gives you a little more flexibility, along with less bulk to carry around.

If you have one of Nintendo's wonderful handheld gaming consoles, then you really should get one of these charging cables. With the ubiquitous nature of usb sockets nowadays, it is easy to find a spare charging point for your devices and your Nintendo should not be left out too. So, rather than lug about an actual bulky charger for your device, just carry this cable and plug into a spare socket or a power bank. Of course these days the Switch has a usb type C socket so charging should be even easier since you might not even need to carry around this dedicated cable, just a standard type C cable. But for devices such as DSi, 2DS or 3DS or their variants this cable is perfect, good length, sturdy looking and gold plated connectors.

Charges just fine, very convenient. I did accidentally bend the USB end of the cable while moving furniture, but it still works and I was able to just twist it back into its original position. Not sure if that's a good thing.

What a great buy! We have been clearing out cupboards etc in the house and in doing so unearthed my daughters long ago forgotten DS. The reason it was obviously stowed away was due to not being able to charge it. My daughter had a sudden need to be using it again and we ordered this charging cable. It works without any problems whosoever and I love it because for a couple of pounds an old but expensive at the time item has been given a new lease of life. First class and really pleased.

Compre este cable despues de perder el cargador original y no he notado ninguna diferencia en tiempos de carga y demas Ps: dos dias despues de que me llegara encontré el cargador original u.u

Es un cable de corriente simplón, sin materiales de alta calidad, pero cumple su cometido. Permite cargar la DS con muchos cargadores de teléfono actuales.
