Worked perfectly- no drivers.
I tried several other cables before purchasing this one. This one worked perfectly downloading and uploading to my IC-2700A. I used Windows 11 and did not install any drivers.

Make programing easy. worth the money
I had a little trouble getting it to work and called their help line and was absolutely impressed. Above and beyond!

Worked fine with IC2730A, no driver install needed
I plugged this into a brand new IC2730A radio and was able to program with Chirp. I did watch a video online as it wasn't entirely clear from the manual where to plug in to the radio (hint: for me it was the headphone jack port closest to the side of the radio at the rear). I started this process 15 minutes before a net, and I still had time to catch the net and verify my settings worked.

Work as expected. Is not a CHIRP compatible radio but it works perfectly with the Icom software.

doesn't work
Windows 10 didnt like the driver. It comes up as unrecognized, and if you try to update the driver through the device manager, it say the best driver is already installed. The directions are no help as they are in Chinese. I can't find any help on the 'net anywhere for my Icom IC-v86. Regardless the radio, computer wont load the drivers. Junk for me. Edit. I never received the cd for the drivers, so apparently I couldn't update those. Cord still doesn't work; I still don't have the disc. I've been mainly programming from the front panel, which is a pain in the rear when you are used to different brands of radios.

Works as expected. Programmed my Icom IC-T7H without issue.

Worked perfectly for me
Used it to program my new Icom VC3500 mobile 2m radio, using a windows 10 laptop. Worked perfectly, didn't even have to install the drivers. Downloaded the icom software from their website. Way faster to program in 30 some repeaters into the new radio with the software and cable than through the radio buttons, and if I want to program a second one the same, just have to send the same file to it now.
