Superb, comfortable headphones.
Have not had any problems with fit (have a large head), nor with these falling off my head when I move. Similarly, no issue with the Android App (running on the Huawei Mate 20 Pro). These are a superbly comfortable, very enjoyable headphone. Wireless performance via Aptx HD is excellent. These leave the B&W Px and the Sony 1000XM3 for dead (both of which I own) though passive isolation is no match for ANC on either of these headphones. I've travelled with them on trains and buses and find them fine. Best used in the home or office, though, to appreciate the audio excellence on offer. The sound tuning app (to compensate for hearing) works and makes an appreciable difference. Sound quality via the wired connection is even better. Superb midrange, neutral bass and an exciting but non-fatiguing treble as well as a good sound stage for a closed back headphone make this an excellent listen. Not for bass heads, but brilliant accros a wide range of music. I bought these, thinking I might send them back given the negative reviews. I did not. They are amazing and come with a great carry case. Highly recommend to anyone wanting excellent headphones, wired or wireless. I prefer these to my Audioquest Nightowls. Expensive, but worth it if audio quality is the goal. EDIT: Some of the reviews here are misleading eg someone is knocking the Bluetooth connectivity here with a Naim Uniti Star source. The issue is the source - the Uniti bluetooth only allows one way communication - input from a source. It does not allow connection to any Bluetooth headphones. So giving these headphones a bad review because of that is misleading in the extreme.

Breathtaking warm and balanced sound, unparalleled design and comfort
Firstly, the sound: I was skeptic at first, knowing the infamous "beyer V-curve" in their audio signature and notorious spike in treble in other headphones from Beyerdynamic. Not Amiron. These headphones are an entirely different world. The sound is not analytically dry and neutral, it's slightly warm giving the sound a pleasant touch. Bass is well present but not in the slightest overwhelming and has a consistency at all bass frequences. Mids are the true difference from other Beyers, especially DT series. They are right where they are supposed to be and don't sound forced or fake and are separated from bass and treble . Treble is another improvement, it doesn't go too high, which suits people that are allergic to it being too screechy. Overall, the sound is amazing, soundstage wide and instruments well separated. Secondly, the design and accessories: when I was deciding between Beyerdynamic DT1990 and Amiron I disdained Amiron being made from plastic. However, after having a close look it doesn't feel cheap and actually is quite helpful as the headphones don't weight as much. The pattern looks amazing there's actually a Beyerdynamic logo (not seen on other BD headphones). Wearing them is just pure joy. The velour pads are soft as silk and fit the shape of head perfectly. I wear them hours on end without any discomfort. Their grip is firm but comfortable. Scaling of their length is easy and you can actually hear a satisfying "click" at every stage. The cable is long and straight which might be a pain when you're not that far from your source but this is manageable. It ends with 3,5 mm jack with screwable 6,35 mm stereo plug and connects with each "can" using 3,5 mm jack. Additionally, it can be switched with a balanced Beyerdynamic cable which ends with 4 XLR pins that plugs into amp: emphasis on the purpose of the headphones to be worn at home. This is another advantage over DT1990 and most of other headphones that have different ports at headphone end of the cable (in case of DT1990 it's mini 3 pin XLR) when trying to transit to balanced cable. Amiron scales nicely with good DACs and amplifiers and I recommend to invest in one to get everything out of these headphones. Note that many parts of Amiron are replaceable so these headphones should last a fair amount of years. In conclusion, I think this is the best choice under 1000 pounds and that Amiron can compete even with authorities of the like of Sennheiser HD800. I clap Beyerdynamic on this one.

Not bad.
UPDATE: So I got a better amp (Beyerdynamic a20 and a SMSL DAC...wow it made a massive difference, I must have seemed so ignorant in my last review. Anyhow, the headphones now sound so crisp and wonderful, its highs are great. not too much treble either. Will be my endgame for a while. These have replaced my audio technica ath-900x and my AudioQuest nighthawks! Ok.. So I'm not an audiophile, I also don't know much of the audiophile lingo, (so apologies if this review sounds basic.) but I wanted a decent pair of headphones that will last me a long time. I listen to High-res music and enjoy gaming too, so presumed this would be a good fit. I picked these up for less than £300 during the warehouse sale, which was a fantastic price really. (can't fault that). I also can not fault the build quality..too much. These are made in Germany and you can tell as they are made to last..just the materials seems a little cheap with a plastic/felt build to it. Now I'm using a cheap amp (SMSL M3) so maybe that's why I didn't think these sounded too good, but the sound quality was just..adaquate. when these were listed on here for £503 you expect a high-quality sounding product, but they personally sounded no better than a £100-£200 pair of headphones. The sound is clear and you can hear everything around you, it's immersive. Bass is not boomy and is rounded nicely. highs are nice and the mids/lows are present and decent. it's just missing..something, especially for the price, it's at. I haven't tried the DT1990 but it seems like that might be suited to me more personally. I'd suggest picking these up when they are cheaper.

Amazing Sound and Comfort
These headphones are amazing, I love them - the sound quality is outstanding it blows my mind. These are the most expensive headphones I have brought- previously i've spent around the £250 mark (apart from iphones max which i sent back, they are terrible) and the difference is truly outstanding. I actually got them half price as i selected the 'buy used' option - but all this meant was the box was slightly damaged! So i'm well chuffed. i have the wired version as not being able to have lossless and hi-res lossless audio on such pricey headphones seems pointless. Obviously I use at home, mostly with my schitt audio amp and fiio DAC and use my iPhone or ipad and apple music. The hi-res lossless tracks with a DAC and good headphone amp and these headphones are the best listening experience I have ever had that i could afford. Obviously these are open so plenty of leakage - but thats a given, these arent meant for the bus or train but home use. They are so comfortable, I can wear them for hours - in fact i would have no reason to take them off as they are so comfy.

Amazing sound, Bluetooth ctrl packed in on day 2
Wonderful for a couple of days, could hear them burning in beautifully too. However following second charge Bluetooth button on the ‘phones stopped operating. Could only pair to device while on charge. At £500 not good, have returned and currently awaiting refund.

A fantastic pair of Studio Headphones
I’ve only had these headphones for a couple of days. The last ones I ordered came without the headphone cable and were returned but money refunded. To get the best out of these beauties, I run them through a Chord Mojo 2 DAC and headphone amplifier and my source music is either my I-phone, I-Mac or MacBook Pro running Qubuz or Tidal Music. Comfort is superb, particularly if you wear glasses, which I do. You can wear them all day. The sound is fantastic, beautiful controlled bass, rich but not peircing treble and a massive soundstage. They come with a huge 3 metre cable so they are not really portable and are meant for listening at home, however they are also extremely light and are built beautifully. They are expensive and have still got to be run in as such but they are worth every penny.

Unsolvable issues with Bluetooth
I was looking for a high-quality cordless headphone so that I could enjoy music without impnging on family and friends. After a lot of research I opted for the Amiron because it scored consistently as the best audio quality in a cordless headphone. I was worried by both the mixed star-ratings and the range of niggles reported on Amazon and other user feedback sites. I should have given them more weight. Although the Bluetooth performance was critical to my choice, I gave the Amiron a decent go on the cable and was pleased with the sound quality. When I tried to pair it with my Naim Star player - nothing. Just couldn't find it, and nothing I tried changed it. I've had no significant problem getting other devices pair to the Naim, and Amiron also remained invisible to the newest iPad in the house. I spent a long morning rying to find a solution - running through every variation I could find, and crawling over all the web. Fruitless. In the end I packed it in , packed it up and returned it with a regret but not a qualm.

Excellent home use headphone
Beyerdynamic headphones in my opinion are always among the more comfortable of headphones and this model continues with that tradition. Combined with a fine audio performance with a well balanced sound from bass to treble and a clear open soundstage this is a near ideal headphone for extended listening sessions on a good home audio system. Due to high impedance more suited to home use with a good amplifier than mobile/tablet use. But if mainly for home use this is a truly excellent headphone. It is a fairly expensive headphone but I have a planar headphone costing a fair bit more that in my opinion is not as well balanced as this headphone so is very good value for money. This headphone is much better in conveying the energy of the music than the more expensive planar design. Totally happy with purchase of this headphone. I can find no serious issues with this well built headphone and would throughly recommend them.
