REVIEW ON 1ST DAY
14/02/2017 RECEIVED TODAY ordered on the 6th so good service as it includes a weekend! Tried it out today using a nail gun, very good more power than is required, so had to adjust pressure down! Far better than my old 7cfm @ 8bar unit! NO problems whatsoever and will definitely use supplier again. Spent more time finding my spanners than assembling the wheels, ran it up to maximum pressure in about 1.5 minutes. It restarted as it should after some time, which meant all connections were airtight. High quality machine at a low price. recommended

Spot on for the beginner...
Really nice product. I still have not worked out the standard of the connectors that comes with it. I suggest that you buy connectors both male and female and swap out the one or two that come on the unit. The instructions are not detailed at all, be prepared to work it all out as you go along. Serious advice, get some earplugs and always wear safe glasses with it.

This meets my moderate needs, heavier and more intensive work would require a larger capacity tank.
I purchased this for my diy projects, I have never used a compressor let alone purchased one. I was a little apprehensive and very mindful of my poor vision with regards to setting up, using and general care and maintenance of this machine. I was truly surprised at how easy this was. I tried this out using a nailer; I found this much better than my previous electric nail gun, Having a visual impairment I do not need it for car maintenance of other heavy duties. This will be perfect to meet my needs. A little noisy but nothing safety equipment cannot solve. Great product! Many thanks.

Powerful as hell
This thing is so powerful but also extremely loud (as you'd expect) but quiet when you're using your tools. Cuts off when reaches the maximum and automatically kicks back on when it needs to. The only thing I have to complain about was one of the travel plugs wings had been installed behind a piece of plastic so it was a real pain in the backside to get out. Probably an employee error but other than that, nothing wrong at all. I honestly think this is extremely good value for money and the seller posted it out very quickly.

Cheap and cheerful
Well I imagine these are imported from China and simply sent out in 'box shifter' fashion. When I opened the box the main manifold was snapped off completely and hanging by a pipe. The box itself showed no sign of any bad damage having been done in transit and I suspect it came from the manufacturer like it. Chinese quality control is pretty much non existent and I doubt the box contents had been checked before dispatch in UK either. I fitted the replacement manifold supplied by the seller and it seems to work ok now. I have a similar compressor already under the Wolfe brand which had stopped working so ordered this one to replace it. Turned out the Wolfe was a fairly simple repair just needing a new pressure switch which I bought from Amazon so that one was fixed way before the new one arrived!! The Parker Richmond one is just about as noisy as the Wolfe and works in exactly the same way with the pressure building to around 100PSI then switching off till the pressure drops before switching on again and building the pressure back up. The extra power and higher CFM rating does make a difference though. This takes probably no more than half the time to fill the 24litre tank compared to the Wolfe. This will make using some of my air tools much more effective as the compressor will be more able to 'keep up' with the likes of my sheet metal nibbler and disk cutter etc. For me a compressor is a tool I don't need very often but like many other tooIs it's really handy to have there when I do need it. I was unhappy that I bought this before finding I could fix my old unit and even more unhappy when it arrived broken but I must admit I'm much happier now that I can see how much better it is than the Wolfe.
