Bottle Rinser Washer Cleaner Home Brew Beer Wine Cider Drinks Cordial Bottles

A bit plasticky and once assembled cannot be put back in the box, which is a nuisance. However in use works extremely well and is an ideal way to sanitise the bottles prior to filling.

Not a bad bottle steriliser but the spring occasionally sticks, wish I’d bought one years ago though!

As per the title , I have an inkling that some previous reviews refer to a different mosel of this product. There are no issues with sturdiness or build quality on this model. What did throw me is that its twice the size I expected, will hold around a litre of a steriliser and will easily do 1ltr wine bottles as well as 500mm plastic and glass beer bottles. I did daftly press the spring loader down without a bottle over the top and the stream stopped narrowly short of hitting the kitchen ceiling 🤣 Did 48 beer bottles in less than 5 minutes ,£16 thats virgually paid for itself on first use. Seems very well made , basin and base are both fairly thick sturdy plastic so I dont see any issues arising regarding longetivity.

Easy to use,easy clean bottles it does the job, and not a bad price

Clips together very easy, it may feel a little flimsy but that’s due to the long spring and how it’s designed to work but as long as you use it how it’s designed then I can’t see any issues at all. Just fill the reservoir, press straight down with the bottle and a strong jet of fluid shoots out covering all the inside of the bottle, do it a few times and fully coated 100%. Saves loads of time and mess compared to trying to fill the bottles using a jug etc also keeps the outside dry. Once sterilised drain and exchange for clean water and repeat to rinse ( or just use no rinse steriliser) Combined with a bottle airier it’s a great piece of kit for home brewing.

I have broken 2 of these bottle rinsers and both times, I would say it is down to poor material selection. i really don' t know why the outer shell is may of a brittle polystyrene, it is certainly the wrong material. I have knocked it with the end of a bottle and it just shatters without any pressure. The device is really simple and effective, it is really good at cleaning bottles, but there are improvements that can be made, as a change in the plastic for the outer shell would be a massive improvement. Having cleaned bottled soaking for hours and cleaning with a brush, this device actually manages to remove a lot of the dirt that is hard to remove.

You still need to wash the outside of the bottles! Regarding washing the inside, it does this well but I was not sure that spraying straight up and down was fully coating the all of the inside with sterilant. To make sure I hold the bottle at an angle to squirt top and bottom and side to side to make sure the sterilant runs all over the inside surface. The other thing is that the depth of sterilant needs to be high enough and topped up to cover the top of the bottle when fully depressed. This is so that some of the outside is also sterilised to prevent bacteria entering the bottle. It does save time and is highly recommended.
