Die Hose ist sehr sauber gearbeitet. Das Material ist sehr angenehm auf der Haut. Jedoch erfüllt gerade die eingenähte Polsterung nicht meine Erwartungen. Es ist im Vergleich zu anderen getesteten Polstern sehr einfach gearbeitet und die Nähte scheuern bei mir an den Oberschenkeln. Aus diesen Gründen habe ich diese Hose zurückgegeben. Da ich nicht einschätzen kann, ob die Nähte generell oder nur bei mir scheuern habe ich vier Sterne vergeben, tendiere persönlich jedoch eher zu drei Sternen.

I purchased the first pair of these cycling shorts a couple of years ago. First thing I learned about them is the suggested size wasn’t close. I wear a 34-35 waist and ordered size large based on the size chart. Could barely squeeze into them. Retuned them fo x-large size and they fit great. The second question about them had to do with the pad. I found it a bit bulky initially and thought it would be uncomfortable. Wore them for a ride thinking I was going to dislike the feel of the pad. After about 10 minutes on my ride, I forgot about the pad entirely and find these shorts to be very comfortable. This is now my second pair and the originals that I bought 2 years ago hardly show any wear. Can’t beat these shorts especially at the price point. I’m going to order another pair as well.

I wasn't paying enough attention when I bought this. the blue thing isn't thin and soft, it's thick and rubbery. I've seen these in stores, and avoided them, but here I was trying to replace a pearl izumi bike shorts without the stupid pad, and outwardly it looks identical. Its fine, it just feels a bit weird. I wouldn't have chosen to buy something a bit ridiculous looking for very little advantage. i suppose if you have a very bony butt and are too vain for a seat cushion this is what you're looking for.

I have been using road cycling shorts since the 1980s. I have used mid-priced shorts of various brands. These shorts fit me better than any shorts I have ever owned - and they are the cheapest! I have relatively short legs, and many shorts are too long for me. The legs fit me just like the photo. I was going to give them 4 stars, but then I thought what would I want to be different to give them 5 stars? Can't think of anything. So, 5 stars. I now own three pair. No regrets.UPDATE: Still love these shorts. Now own 4 pair. Yes, mine have the narrower non-contoured pad, but I have absolutely no problem with them, which kind of surprised me at first just by looks, but I have no functional or comfort issues at all. No doubt others are not lying about pad issues for themselves, but be willing to try these.
