Instant hit with my 5 month old baby - lots of different colours and textures to capture interest and the lift the flap element adds another dimension. My nearly 3 yr old wanted to get a look at this too and enjoyed looking at all the pages & telling me and his brother all about it. Good sized book, pleased with my purchase and would recommend as an interesting contrast when you've exhausted the "that's not my...." series!

Absolutely love this book! Loads of tactile patches and lift the flaps! Colourful too! Our son has just turned 1 (3m premature so a little behind) and I bought this for his birthday. He really engages with this book and likes to turn the pages which are good for little hands. I'm going to buy it for my friend's son's birthday too as it will be good for his development.

This book is so packed with detail my baby werent sure where to look. Lots of holes, textures, colours, feely bits and flaps. I felt my 7 month old got abit overstimulated with it so id recommend more for about a year old. But its a great buy well worth the money.

Great book with very vibrant colours and textures on all the pages! My baby girl loves looking at it every night as part of her bedtime routine. The only thing I didn’t like much was the quality of the flaps within the pages, could be thicker so that the baby doesn’t tear it off. Overall a nice purchase.

My daughter is autistic so loves anything sensory, which this book provided. From lift the flaps and various textures, this book is lovely for young children!

This book is so colourful and has so much going on it captures babies attention every time. The flaps are good but the holes through to the next pages are really good. The best page by far is the one with the glittery star and planets on it. Really pleased.

This book is great. Our 10-month old little one loves it. There's loads to explore on each page, from textures to feel, flaps to lift, pictures to look at, and even a few words to seed story-telling for parents. It's made from thick card and the flaps are sturdy and have so far resisted tearing. Each double-page spread has a different theme including flying, garden, water and space. There really is a lot to do, and it's easy to build up a story around each of the pages and keep little one interested for a good while. One of the better books we've bought - highly recommended.

My baby absokutely loves this book!! Its got lovely pictures, colours and textures. My son just loves lifting the flaps and giggling at ehats underneath.

Usborne never disappoints. It's as you'd expect, flaps on every page, little bits of textures. It's a very lovely book and a good size too for little hands (bought for my 10mo baby). The disappointment was that it came wet and smelling of mould, some of the flaps were falling off due to the damp. I had to air-dry it first, but since then baby has loved it. I did receive a full refund.

Great for toddlers

This book is perfect for babies ready to interact with their books. My 9 month old granddaughter chortles with delight as she flips flaps and touches the various textures.

My daughter (15 months) loves this line of books. So I ordered her this one. She loves to read and we only give her books under supervision. We want to teach her to respect books... Anyway the first time her and I read this book she ripped the flaps in two different spots the first time reading it. The reason they rip so easily is because the flaps are all different shapes and open from the bottom, sides and even diagonally. This is confusing for babies who are very eager to find out what is underneath. And because of the odd shape of the flaps they are more prone to ripping. My daughter accidently ripped the lily pads upon first read... Kinda disappointing. I would not recommend this book for babies.
