I'm very pleased with this wire.It is true copper strands, NOT copper plated aluminum as some of the wire being sold is.It is also true American Wire Gauge. So much of the wire being sold on-line is NOT AWG.If your project is critical as to current draw this will make a difference.I couldn't find anywhere on the spool where this wire is manufactured but it appears to be a quality wire.

Last time I bought wire from another place, I thought I was buying solid copper strands. It turned out to be copper clad aluminum. CCA looks like the real thing, but is significantly lighter weight, and not worth much, especially if it is used in a damp environment.This wire is heavy copper. The real thing! It costs a little more and it is worth it.

I cut the 50' spool in half, and wired up my bookshelf speakers, which due to constraints in the room are placed non-optimally. But cabled up with this cable, classical music sounds clearer than it might have done with the old Carol zip cable that I've used for many years.

Pure copper wire must be scarce since they are harder to find these days. This is one of the few available for a decent price. It is pure, but the spool is not going to be the size that you might expect! The spool is about the size of a donut! I measured and it is 50 ft. and worked for what I needed done.

I read reviews of professionals, sound engineers, and through away my 200 feet of much cheaper and much worse speaker wire. Great Product!

I bought two rolls of this months apart. Very consistent, really nice all copper wire. Strips easily, is the proper gauge, and is plenty flexible.

First time using copper clad aluminum wire for car stereo. Not impressed. There is nothing like good old copper.

Great wire. Easy to strip off the insulation. Copper strands seem strong and durable. Very flexible and easy to run as needed. Like the red color too.
