Why I wanted fins and why I like these ones
I've owned these fins for ten days and used them five or six times. I paid £23.95 for 'black/red' size. In this review I will explain what my motivation was for purchasing fins and why, so far, I have found these ones to be excellent. A year ago I took up regular freestyle (front crawl) swimming because I'd heard that it was good for relieving and repairing back pain. Until then I'd been an unrefined but competent swimmer who rarely swam. Since then, I've been swimming 2-3 times a week; building stamina and gradually learning technique via a swim website. By the time I purchased these fins, I had a decent level of fitness and a basic understanding of what I should be trying to do/think about in the water. Fins were the next step. To determine my required fin size I used the provided "Visual Reference Guide" (i.e. by carefully measuring the length and breadth of my feet). For me, this worked - my fins fit perfectly (they're snug without chafing and they don't fall off when I swim). The fins don't look particularly flashy (fine by me) but they do look well made and they float (as claimed), which is useful. They also come in a carry bag with handle. The fins respond exactly as I'd hoped when performing swimming drills: they provide a huge boost to propulsion, allowing me to concentrate on body alignment and stroke technique without having to work too hard. Equally, when I use the fins for leg position/strength drills, I can feel the positional improvement when I swim fin-less afterwards, and I feel muscle fatigue in the right places the following day. To date, I can see no reason to fault these fins. I'll add to this review if my impressions change over time.

does what it says...
As far as long fins go they are OK. No issues with size, albeit they make it unnecessarily complicated with their colour codes. They have held up ok, but they will show some calcification after a while.. in theory one should probably wash them with clean cold water after every use, but I challenge the swimmer who actually does that. Goggles and jammers ok, but fins? No way. Good enough if you need long fins for ankle and body positioning training.

Good, but check sizing
Good find, plenty of flex. Great that they float. Only point is to check sizing, but tighter than I would have expected. Ordered the EU42-44 As I am usually a 43, but should have rather gone 1 size bigger.

Perfect for Us
Checked the sizing on the Finis website to ensure correct fitting and ensure you order the relevant colour. (Each colour combination represents a different shoe size). I have bought pairs for myself, my son (8) and my daughter (5) and we all love them. They fit well and are extremely comfortable. Have used them both in the pool and in the sea.

Great, no complaints
My son needed this for his swimming club. Works fine. In fact, his swimming club has a couple of old ones of these exact designs, to loan to anyone who didn’t have their own fins yet, which was the reason why my son picked these instead of other brands

Swimming fins
Bought these after so much research for my daughter for a holiday My daughter is size 4 adult and was worried about sizing but they were perfect. Obviously they were abit uncomfortable after a long period of wearing but to be expected when so new. She was amazed at how good they were to swim in and was very happy. Very happy purchase

Stupid sizing
These were sold as one size fits all adults and when they arrived were barely an adult size 5, very disappointing and it cost me even more money to return them to amazon, so in effect, the entire non-sale cost me over £15sterling. A waste of time and money. Really annoyed.

This is a very useful fin. My 7yo boy improves a lot using this fin. However, for his age, this fin is a size S for men. My boy says it's a little bit tight hence, I am buying a size M (men) for him. His is 1.36m so I am wondering if the fin size is a bit smaller than others.
