Brilliant product. Been using for 3 years now at an Airbnb and has not let me down once or not yet had to change the battery. Easy to install and operate and to change numbers. Works with an app too so you will never forget the numbers. Super sturdy and secure and would need a proper work out with metal cutting tools to break in. Only thing is that the space inside is quite shallow and if you have a bunch of keys 5 or more they won't fit in easily. I had 2 other safes before this one and both let me down within a month so im super happy with this one.

We purchased this key safe back in Sept 2022, the date today is Aug 2023. The key safe was easy to install but somewhat a little tricky when trying to connect up to the phone app, eventually after many tires, we managed it and got the key safe working as intended. We purchased this key safe for the sole purpose of storing a key which would allow care staff, emergency services, community nurses access to my fathers property - he has very poor mobility and it's not always possible for him to get to the door. After installation, everything worked as intended, all the different services had their own number and all was good. However a couple of weeks ago (14th Aug 23), I received a phone call from the care staff, they could not gain access, the key safe was not opening. Naturally, I thought the battery might be low so I head round with a 9V battery to place on the emergency terminals at the bottom of the key safe and open it with my primary code, and a new battery to replace the old one within the unit. But when I arrived, the battery was not low, and the 9V battery I had to jump start the key safe made no difference, the key safe just did not want to open. Normally, you enter your code, the circular button turns green, there's a 'click' noise which indicates the mechanism has unlocked and you can pull the door open. What was actually happening was - Code was entered, light goes green, NO CLICK, door won't open. Even with the 9V battery attached, NO CLICK, door wont open. At this point, I started to become concerned, of course we have spare keys, but no other mechanism to externally store them securely on my fathers property. I tried to contact Master Lock to obtain some support - well I can tell you after a week I've had no email response from Master Lock and when you call the UK number, you can only speak to an answering machine. Their phone system states they are open Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm, however their phone system does not allow you to leave a message until 9:10am. A day and a half goes by after the initial call from the care staff not being able to get the key out, at this point I've tried opening the key safe 15 to 20 times with no success, I was about to take a hammer to the key safe to obtain the key and replace it with a different brand, but my other half insisted I tried again, so I did. This time, the key safe sprang into action and opened - I was gob smacked!! I take the key out and close the door to the key safe, I re-enter the code and it opened!!, I go to close the key safe door, but I cannot, the door won't close, so I re-enter the code and the light goes green, but I cannot close the door and there was no 'click' noise. So now I'm thinking that this unit is faulty because it's just throwing random problems - not being able to open it for a day and a half, now we cannot get the door closed. To summarise, I don't have confidence in this key safe, I work for an NHS ambulance service within the UK and I DO NOT recommend this key safe, Master Locks support is shocking. I will be replacing this key safe regardless of its current working condition with another brand, more likely a mechanical lock also.

This is a great keysafe. Very sturdy, easy to use and discreet. When it came to installation and setup, the most difficult part by far was extracting it from the packaging (It was screwed into the packaging inside the keysafe - took ages to work out how to remove the package). It fixed to the wall really easily and setup was very simple. I love the flexibility it gives with the app; being able to have a separate code for our cleaner is great. The temporary code feature is also really useful for somebody who only needs one-time access - no need to keep changing the code. The App is easy to use and gives information on when the keysafe is used, so you know exactly who has accessed it, and when. The light-up keys are brilliant, meaning that you never have to struggle to see the numbers, even when it's dark. All in all, a great product. No need for multiple keys (and remembering who has them). Would definitely recommend.

Considering that this is a key safe, there is not much room for keys. I fitted the safe to my front door. Not difficult but care needs to be taken to ensure that you drill the holes correctly and in line. The enclosed screws are virtually useless and I would consider them insecure against any serious attempt to remove the safe by force. I needed to additionally purchase four suitable 5mm. threaded bolts, nuts and washers in order to make a secure job (please note that I was fixing to a door and not to masonry). I was pleased with the result though. The other problem with the safe is it's capacity. I needed for it to contain two normal sized keys (on a small key tag) and a small chub key (also on a small key tag). They barely fitted into the safe with sufficient space to close the door without it fouling the keys. This needed a bit of key 'wiggle' to enable the door to close properly. Although the operation of the safe is excellent when using the key pad to insert the correct code, I have to say that using a suitable phone (e.g. iPhone) to open it is somewhat hit and miss! Some tines it does it straight away and other (annoying) times it takes forever and is really annoying! Having said all this, on balance I think that the key safe has really good features and I feel that is very secure. Just don't expect to put many keys in it though!!!

Really impressed with these key boxes. Very easy to set up using the masterlock app. The boxes themselves are very sturdy and secure and the button easy to use (we have had no complaints from contractors using them!). So far the app has been really useful for setting temporary codes at specific dates and times. There is also the functionality to set up to 5 'master' codes so you can track who has accessed the box and when.

We used our lock daily for 25 months without problems. In fact we never carried keys with us but just retrieved them each time we needed them. Last week the lock just decided to stop working. Battery was fine (green) and even connecting an external battery did not help. The app also showed that it was unlocked but the locking mechanisms inside were not retracting. Customer support was poor - almost disinterested. They said I had to send the unit in if I wanted to make a warranty claim - a unit bolted from within into a wall! Whilst this is a great unit while working, I'd suggest you should also have a backup plan for when it decides its had enough with no warning.

Je suis globalement très satisfaite. Néanmoins, acheté en mars, ce mois-ci (juillet) alors que tout semblait fonctionner - on tape le code, le bouton qui doit s'allumer en vert s'allume - voilà, impossible d'ouvrir le couvercle pour récupérer la clef... Ayant enfin trouvé le service après-vente, le conseiller m'a dit d'appuyer fort sur le couvercle PENDANT que j'entrais le code. La boîte s'est ouverte. Par contre, ensuite (toujours en suivant les conseils du conseiller), il faut légèrement dévisser les deux vis du haut. Nous avons fait tout cela, et la boîte à clef marchait de nouveau. Là, hier, le même problème de nouveau. On va devisser encore un peu plus les vis du haut dans l'espoir de régler le problème. C'est à mon avis plutôt clairement un petit défaut de fabrication. Le conseiller Masterlock comprenait TOUT DE SUITE le problème et il avait TOUT DE SUITE la solution. J'en déduis - et les avis ici confirment ma suspicion - que c'est un problème récurrent. COMMENTAIRE SUPPLEMENTAIRE APRES UNE 3EME PANNE. Masterlock possède un site européen. En remplissant le formulaire on accède à l'adresse et coordonnées de leur HQ à Paris. Je vais les appeler demain car là ce produit me cause plus de problèmes qu'il ne résout...

Das Schloss kam heute pünktlich per Post zu mir nach Hause. Die Installation über QR-Code der App auf dem iPhone ist komplikationslos und sehr einfach zu bewerkstelligen. Die Freigabe nach Eröffnung eines Kontos und Verbindung mit dem Tresor erfolgt einfach, indem man den Anweisungen im Menü folgt. Innerhalb von 10 Minuten konnte ich den Tresor mit dem iPhone öffnen, Schlüssel für Besucher generieren, und mit diesen den Tresor öffnen. Da ohne Face ID keinen Zugriff auf die hinterlegten Schlüssel im iPhone möglich ist, und der Tresor aus sehr stabilem Aluminium Druckguss besteht würde ich den Tresor als sicher und robust ansehen. Ich bin ehrlich schwer begeistert von diesem einfachen kleinen und preislich akzeptablen Schlüsseltresor, da selbst ich in der Lage bin, einfache Zahlenschlösser mit vier Rädchen innerhalb von 15 Minuten zu öffnen. Einem Einbruchsversuch wird dieser Tresor sicherlich wiederstehen. Lediglich die mitgelieferten Schrauben sind mir persönlich zu kurz, ich halte 100 mm lange Schrauben mit entsprechendem Dübeln für die Hauswand für besser geeignet. Nachtrag nach der Montage an der Wand lässt sich die Türe nicht entriegeln. Amazon bittet um Rücksendung. Muss also von der Wand geflext werden. Mist, weil das Produkt echt durchdacht ist!! Nachtrag 2 Amazon hat ohne Murren einen neuen Tresor geliefert. Der hat aber keinen Aktivierungscode. Geht also auch zurück. Weil ich zäh bin habe ich den dritten Tresor bestellt und montiert, der tut nun was er soll. Sollte er auch versagen werde ich solange Tresore bestellen bis entweder die Firma pleite ist oder Mein Amazon Konto gekündigt wird.
