Came well within time. Ordered two single mattresses which surprised us as we had ordered two single beds and thought Amazon had delivered the bed-frames but were calling them the mattresses. Still, the next delivery was the following day so no panic.But we became a little curious and opening one of the boxes discovered that we were mistaken and the 3' x 1' x 1' box had a mattress inside.The mattress had been vacuum packed in a plastic bag and rolled up in a roll. But on first inspection we though we had brought a mattress topper by mistake as the mattress looked so thin.So, beds erected we took the roll out of the box and placed the roll on the bed. On cutting open the bag the mattress soon inflated to its proper size with no ill effects. If its easier to get the roll into the bedroom first rather than a 6 x3 mattress up the stairs, open the package once upstairs. I don't know if this is the new way to delivering mattresses, but if it is don't be surprised if your double or kingsize comes through your letter box. The mattresses seem firm enough and easily support our weight, so the grandchildren should have no problems. Very pleased would use this supplier again and recommend.

Bought this for my 5year old as his first big boy mattress and he loves it and for the price, so do I. My son also love watching it "grow" into a full size mattress once it came out of its box.This mattress is great for a lighter person - child or light adult, being both soft and comfy and providing a good level of support (my wife also loves it). It may also be good for a frail or elderly person as it is quite light so is easy to lift/move.This mattress is not suitable for a heavier person as they may well find it a little too soft - I am heavier (90kg+) and find that whilst it is ok if I am flat on my back it does not give me the support I need when I turn over quickly or if I am on my side for any length of time.

I unrolled it upstairs as recommended by another reviewer. Perfect. Big. Deep. I’ve slept on it and had a great night’s sleep. It is very soft though and sinks when you sit on it. Some people wouldn’t like that. I’m not sure if it might hurt my back if I slept on it every night. Great for my daughter though.

not as thick as I thought it would be, didnt last very long had to get another matress

I purchased this mattress for my 5 year old Daughter back in June 19. I wrote to the company explaining that my lg had noticed a hard spring coil has prutruded out and was digging into her back. Unfortunately it's abit hard to show this with pics but I did feel this with my own hand. Abit disappointing when it isn't a budget mattress so was expecting it to last abit longer than 6 MTHS. Was told to flip the mattress around but could not return or claim back any money. It was not the quality I was expecting for the money and there fore wouldn't recommend.

Not as hard as I would have liked but it's a great mattress, very comfortable I get great nights sleep on this, one words of advice, DON'T UNROLL THE MATTRESS UNTIL IT'S ON THE BED, otherwise you'll find it awkward to cary up stairs and put on bed.Would I recommend this mattress? I'd buy another in a heartbeat, at the price it cost I was expecting something half decent, this mattress I'd pay double for it and still consider it a bargain.

The mattress arrived quickly and is ideal for a spare bed. It is soft to medium but provides support unlike the budget mattress that we had before so we are pleased with the purchase. Very good for the price.

My son was really suffering on a sprung mattress and asked to try this. He has never complained once. Great for him.
