I became deeply concerned when I experienced handfuls of hair loss in February. My bloods were taken and I was at 7 (yes 7!). I was prescribed ferrous fumarate and in June my bloods were 12 and I was still experiencing hair loss and many other symptoms related to low iron.I saw this recommended on YouTube and despite the cost to my purse I felt that the cost to my mental health would be greater if I didn’t try something soon. I took the plunge and my goodness, I went from losing 300-500 strands combing/touching/washing/moving to 20-30 max doing all of the aforementioned a few days ago.I received my order in late June and started taking them immediately, it is nice that they can be taken at anytime with or without food. Now in August, without having had my bloods checked I am feeling (not lightheaded etc) and seeing the increase. I will update this again once I have the exact report in a few months.

Excellent supplement. My hair was shedding like crazy after donating blood twice in 2016. The haemoglobin test they give you when donating is NOT a reliable test of iron stores. I was so fed up with my excessive hair shedding that I visited a trichologist in November 2016. She suggested blood tests which showed that my ferritin level was 22 (ferritin is a measure of your body's iron stores). Normal ferritin ranges from 20- 300 with a level of at least 50 being needed for good energy and normal hair growth. Clearly, my ferritin of 22 was not sufficient for good hair growth even though it falls within the "normal range". I started taking the supplement ferrograd but that ended up giving me diarrhoea and stomach issues so I tried this supplement. I took great care to take this supplement at least 2 hours away from tea, coffee and dairy products as this can affect your absorption of iron. I had my iron levels re-tested on 22/5/17 and my ferritin level is now 79! This is a huge improvement to 7 months ago when it was 22 and my hair growth has improved dramatically. I have tons of new hair growth and it has thickened up considerably. I highly recommend this supplement - it is awesome and has made a dramatic difference to my iron levels. (just as a caveat- please dont take iron unless you know you are deficient - too much iron can be toxic and dangerous so definatly get levels tested first). Would recommend 100%

I haven't had a follow up blood test yet since being diagnosed with chronic anaemia. However I am feeling better since taking these. I use two a day because of the severe low level of iron. I was having tight chests, breathlessness and dizzy spells due to lack of oxygen in my blood. Pleased to say that I am doing much better after three weeks. Highly recommend.I only wish deliver was quicker. I was disappointed that it wasn't available on Prime.

Great iron supplement. Best taken with manganese to increase absorption. I take it occasionally when needed with copper which plays a role in this. Recent research shows iron taken, if you have a deficiency, at 60mg every other day gives maximum absorption else the body starts to reject it.

Taste horrendous, why adding unnecessary ingredients to make it bigger and taste even more disgusting, instead of coating it so that it does not make you throw up ?!I’m so surprised about the good reviews that deceived me to buy this most disgusting thing I’ve ever tasted .

Best product ever, I feel much better and my hair started to grow again

I have been using blood builder for over a year now and they are by far the best iron supplements I have ever used. No constipation which is always a win and easy to digest with a few other supplemental goodies such as B12

The supplement came in a sealed glass jar. Arrived on time and safely wrapped in bubble wrap. This is the first time I am trying these so I can’t speak to the effectiveness (yet). The tablets aren’t as big as I thought they would be which is great because I have a hard time swallowing tabs. This actually went down really easy! I’m trying these instead of my usual floradix for low iron count/fatigue. If I can I’ll update in a month.
