Can it run a fuel barrel pump, normally it uses a regular car battery, but would like to use a smaller battery if you think it would work?

I can't say but check the power pull you need. I actually replaced using a 12V computer UPS backup battery in my boat that ran gps/nav/fish finder, w/a small DieHard 12V Lawn & Garden battery #U1-1 (akin to a small 12V lead acid motorcycle battery) 160 cold/200 cranking amps w/ more beef than the computer backup battery that'll also runs a small trolling motor for a couple days b4 recharging. The computer UPS b/u battery concept is a great way to go w/o spending lots of $ for limited short-term 12V service needs, but the step-up to a real, serviceable lead-acid battery for increased capacity using only a cheapo 12V trickle charger to pump it up to 14.1V again has been my solution.

Anyone know what size crimp terminal female spade connector fits on this batter? I changed the battery in my Ion Tailgater and both spades came off.

These are the measurements right off the battery itself: Both terminals are 1/4 inch long, .190 ( about 3/16) inches wide, about .040" thick.

The capacity of the battery is given in the part number as 5AH, which means 5 ampere hours of energy until it is drained to 75% capacity, as if you squeezed 1/4 of the water out of a fully saturated sponge. Your "runtime" depends on how fast you take that energy out of the battery or how quickly you squeeze that sponge. Devices making more movement, light, heat, or sound= more energy=quicker squeeze of the sponge, quicker drain of the battery. The 75% factor is determined by the devices that wont function correctly below that energy level. Like when the water behind a dam is just barely high enough to reach the spillway for the hydroelectric turbines means not enough energy output even though there is still a lot of water behind the dam.

Can you power a cpap while camping or during a power outage with this?

Assuming you are using a 12 volt portable CPAP - you would be far better off running it off the battery in your car. Most 12 volt CPAP's have a cigarette lighter plug to plu into your car. Portable CPAP's normally draw around 15 watts. This battery would get sluggish in only a couple hours at that rate - if that. Otherwise rent a campsite with electric. Sorry, but if you have obstructive sleep apnea maybe camping off the grid is just not a smart idea for you...
