After purchasing my first Phalaenopsis Orchid, I got the new Orchid Repotting Mix after the research was done! From initial opening, the smell was “earthy,” and the bark was fresh and contained properly! The moisture retention is solid and has improved the root health of my Orchid! The size is great value for just the one plant, and I hope to see it continue to flourish in the new potting mix! There are no signs of pest infestation, and the weight makes the mix easy to transport to/from storage! I would highly recommend this mix to beginners for Orchids, like me!

Good potting mixture for orchids

Absolutely love this bark for mixing up my own potting mixes for my houseplants. It's great for providing aeriation to ensure I don't leave my plants waterlogged, and I've never had a problem with any fungus gnats being present in a bag.

I realized my poor orchids were potbound and not thriving. So I got bigger pots from B&Q. It was an impulse buy and I thought I could have got the pots cheaper on here. But they are far more pricy on AMAZON!! Same thing with the orchid compost, I get some from Amazon because I didn't have time to go to garden centre. But I recently went to one and found that the compost was cheaper there! Exactly the same product. So it's a great product, my orchids are happier, lots of new leaves and shiny silver roots and even new flower spikes, buds and blooms! My orchids and I are very happy! But I won't buy from Amazon again. I also got new even bigger pots at another branch of B&Q. £5 instead of £11 for one!! £5 for a clear plastic pot is a lot but £11 is insane! I assumed you got 6 pots for £11 but oh no. Put "orchid" in front of the name and the price is ridiculous!!!
