honestly disappointed, I was expecting a little bit better. If your skin is scarred, the vein finder won’t be able to go through it. You only see very superficial veins on the hands, and in the dark only which defeats the purpose of seeing better. Also you need to be with someone to use it, it’s obviously impossible to use it and to perform an IV at the same time. I don’t know what I was expecting, but I did think it would be better and would show more than just a few veins at the back of the hands, the ones you see anyway. I’m returning it because almost £50 to not be helped in seeing the veins, i prefer my £50. the tourniquet doesn’t work and slips away. Better off using a belt honestly. Sadly this goes back for a return, not sure what to do to help seeing the veins better for IV procedures especially with people who are difficult to find veins. Probably just having to keep on trying the old fashioned way : trying to see a vein with your eyes.
