G3 Pro Scratch Remover Liquid 500ml (7164) – Car Scratch Remover for Hand Application – Permanently Removes Fine Scratches, Spreads Easily on Larger Areas

Brought this along with the colour restorer to get rid of a big scratch running down the passenger side of my car from driving too close to a bush. Extremely simple to use just dampen a microfibre cloth and apply the liquid and rub back and forth then buff off the excess with a clean dry cloth. Only took me less than 2 minutes to get rid of the scratch and then I just used the colour restorer and it polished up perfectly. Depending how deep your scratch is will determine how effective this will be but even a deep scratch this will improve it. I think this would also work well on swirl marks you see on darker coloured cars, it really does give it that just come out of a showroom look. Just be aware if you have a darker coloured car because it is abrasive it may look worse once you finish as there will be a patch where you have rubbed the paintwork but that is what the colour restorer is for and it makes it look brand new again.excellent quality would definitely recommend.

I veered off the road to avoid an on coming car and brushed up against some rather stiff hedgerow .. resulting in scratches all down the nearside car. After watching numerous YT videos I took a chance on this product ( I was going to use T cut ). The scratches varied in depth and I was pretty sure nothing, other than a re-spray would resolve the problem. It took quite a lot of elbow grease to remove in most cases the damage, although the deeper scratches were still visible from certain angles. That said I couldn't believe it did such a great job ! and with proper waxing you couldn't notice were the damage had occurred. I am a car enthusiast and would, as said, normally use T cut, in the end I feel this product to be far superior and so thoroughly recommend it .. even though a little more expensive. NB If you have scratches that you feel when running your finger over them. they are said to be too deep to completely remove .. but it still does a great job with a wax ...

With patience I found it certainly improves the appearance of swirls/very light scratches ie those which do not catch a finger nail test, indeed some marks it removed them completely. For deeper scratches it reduces the appearance. On my car it does appear to had any detrimental affect on the paint. All in all it is worth trying but take your time.

I can sum this product up in three words....fan..blooming...tastic. If you want to know more read on. I have a lease car that is soon due to be returned. There were two areas of concern. The minor area was on the fuel filler cap where there were two scratches and which I used as my guinea pig when using this. I cleaned the area and followed the simple instructions on the bottle and the website. I am not easily amazed, the speed and ease which the scratches disappeared, yes disappeared, amazed me. Then the major project. There were numerous scratches caused by someone dragging a hose across the paintwork (a hose that was covered in grit). Originally these had been dealt with using a scratch pen by another automotive product company. The scratch pen was a disaster, leaving visible stripes like clear nail varnish in several places. I hoped by using G3 there may be some improvement as the plastic stripes were really horrible. So, to the G3, I used it twice over the area of concern and the results were amazing. Most of the scratches and horrible plastic stripes have disappeared, yep, gone! In fairness I can only see what remains by looking at various angles and knowing it is there. I will have one more go before the car is returned. I have not had any issues with dulling of the paint (metallic paint on a Mercedes). This really is fantastic stuff.

It did ok on a small job to do with a deep scratch. This helped reduce the appearance - I was hoping for more but maybe I was too optimistic. Careful using it if you don’t know that much about bodywork compounds - it’s quite coarse compared to auto-hobby products.

Bought the G3 liquid due to some very ugly surface scratching on a couple of areas on my two year old Velocity Red RX-8 R3. I had inadvertently caused the scratches by removing some birdlime with insufficient care. I tried unsuccessfully to polish the scratches out, so thought I'd try the G3 liquid after reading the reviews here. Well, I'm no professional, so don't have any special gear, or great knowledge, tricks, etc when it comes to this kind of thing. I do, however, like to keep my car looking good. So, first I watched a couple of demonstration videos on Youtube and it all looked too simple - like magic. But, I followed the instructions, a spray of water on the waffle pad and then applied the product as shown. It feels very gritty to start with, so go gently until you can feel it starting to break down as you work. Only a medium pressure is needed on the pad and you can tell when you've done because the surface starts to polish. A wipe with a soft cloth and presto, it really works. I mean it REALLY works. Not only is it effective, but you only need a tiny amount. This is brilliant value too. I could not praise it enough. Tip 1. Do the nail test before you buy. There is no simple way to deal with deep scratches - miracles belong in the Bible and do not apply to the paintwork on cars! Tip 2. If you are working an area close to rubber, vinyl, plastic or a window, it's a good idea to mask off that area. It'll give you the confidence to work the pad as specified and make it really easy to clean up when you've finished. Have a happy, shiny, scratch free day!

Etwas skeptisch war ich schon, aber da ich so unglücklich einen Ast mitgenommen und mir damit die ganze rechte Seite von vorne bis hinten zerschrammt hatte, musste ich es wohl versuchen. Und jetzt sieht man es dem Auto wirklich nicht mehr an. Man braucht das richtige Verhältnis von Wasser und Remover Liquid, dann geht es echt einfach und auch relativ schnell. Das Ergebnis ist super, ich hatte auf dem silbernen Lack keine Probleme mit Flecken oder Mattigkeit danach. Ich habe einen ganz normalen Küchenschwamm genommen und danach mit einem feuchten Tuch noch mal drübergewischt. Das klappte sehr gut.

Does about 94% of what its suppose to do. Gets most scratches out no matter how deep or light . Basically its all about how much time and effort you put when in motion with the scrub and cream..be patient and ready to take off some scratches permanently!

Hace años, cuando vendian este tipo de productos en la teletienda, lo probé y fue un fracaso, pero en ese momento lo probé con un coche negro. Ahora, me he animado a probarlo de nuevo, y esta vez, al ser mi coche de color blanco, el resultado me ha sorprendido. El producto, a medida que se va extendiendo por la chapa, se transforma en una especie de arenilla abrasiva que tiene una doble función, por un lado lima las aristas de la rayadura, y por otro lado rellena la misma con esas partículas. El resultado me ha sorprendido, ¡¡¡ha quedado perfecto!!!. Limpiar muy bien antes de aplicar, seguir las instrucciones, y en un par de minutos de aplicación: milagro!!!. Eso sí, por supuesto solo funcionará si las rayaduras no son profundas, de esas superficiales.... si las rayaduras dejan ver el metal que hay debajo de la pintura, este producto no te va a funcionar.
