Review: Worked on mk6 fiesta - I’m giving this 5 stars because the stuff did save me having to rip out a steering rack and find where it was leaking from. My power steering went from lasting a day and a half before being empty to lasting a week. One more bottle of this stuff later and it has stopped leaking. They’re in mind some people that have reviewed this product probably have a leak that is bigger than a pin hole or could be something that’s detached in which case this won’t work.
Review: Beware!! - Seriously pay attention of what i'm going to mention here!! First thing first for those who are unaware of, this oil is thick actually very thick therefore it won't flow down at ease just like a ordinary one. You're going to be fine if you are just topping up, that being said if there is enough in the tank though!! As for me i emptied the top up tank and as a result, poor it down and check the level all seems to be okay at first but then after starting the engine up heard a loud whirring noise from the engine and thought something gone wrong somewhere but essentially after immense speculation found out that the noise was coming right from the power steering pump itself due to lack of fluid!! Opened the cap and check it out fluid was nowhere!! Anyhow top it up for the 2nd time and start it up again and guess what?! Noise is still present!! Got me worried if it was too late and might have end up damage the pump in the process!! So once again for the 3rd time top it up however this time i left the engine on as it might help with better circulation through the system. However, as it turn out i filled it up and actually i went above the requiring measuring level just to be on the safe side and leave it running for a short while see what is what. Ultimately the whirring noise came down a lot better compare to the first time but somehow i wasn't fully satisfied so went for another look if the level drop down or instead some of it needed to remove this time for a change cos remember i overfilled it on purpose so. Oof.. annoyingly enough the level dropped for a 4th time!! Not even close to the required level again!! So obviously went to fill it up all over, AGAIN!! To summit this awful experience, i will honestly say essentially lost count of how many miserable times i have topped it up!!! Mind you i'm expecting some more topping up for tomorrow due to the way its been going so far, evidently!!! Besides still a bit of whirring noise going on which causing a bit of concern hence i'm trying to warn you guys asap!!!!!!!!!!! Like i said if you are just topping up while fluid is still present in the top up tank of the power steering pump then you are going to be absolutely fine. However, forget about emptying the whole system cos by just emptying the tank on its own will cause you this problem i'm having without any doubt!! IMPORTANT notes: For your own sake please make sure after topping up you MUST turn the steering wheel to fully left and right while the car is OFF (ignition on which allows you to turn the wheel). Afterward it might need some more top up and if not then you can safely start the car however keep an eyes on the fluid level cos like i mentioned above it is really really thick hence takes time to pass through. Good Luck.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: is this ok for a Peugeot 407 3ltr gt coupe?**
A: Can't tell you if it is OK for you car. You can only but try. I used it on my Audi A4. Did help stem the leak but did not a cure it completely. Seals were probably damaged rather than worn. Still leaks after two bottles. On my third now. Replacement steering rack is the answer I'm afraid. All the best Eddie

**Q: Will this work for green power steering fluid?**
A: I'd doubt it as the only green fluid I can think of is LHM on Citroens, which would be a completely different type of oil.

**Q: I have a bmw 630i is ot ok for this**
A: I don't think the fluid is car-specific - its just a thick fluid that's similar to power steering fluid. In my case, it didn't work because my car had a more serious leak - so the entire steering rack had to be replaced. But as my car is a run of the mill ford fiesta, the repair was not that expensive.

**Q: Is this suitable for golf tdi 2002tdi,reg ak52hld,it uses a mineral based fluid...many thanks**
A: I used this in a pug 2002 307 2.0 litre tdi without a problem. The fault on my power steering was a leaking bush rubber. This cured the fault and the car has gone thru 3 mot's since and no more leaks!!

It does work, however my leak was really really bad and it came back after about 20miles - my steering rack is being replaced as I type this review. Maybe I needed two bottles. Can see it's a great product though and if this doesn't work then it's a new rack for you too.
