Kuhne Sauerkraut 810 g (Pack of 6)

Ordered a pack of 6 to try it. I normally get Morgiel but out of stock. So I saw this and got it next day delivery, good price too. Arrived well packaged and all jars in tact. Taste wise it’s sauerkraut! It’s a softer crunch if that makes sense. And yeah it’s pasteurised so the sauerkraut elite will be in uproar however I buy it for the added volume, low-calorie-ness and texture for my plate (of meat!!). So if you need 6 jars of decent and relatively cheap sauerkraut then buy some. PS: It was slightly harder to open than a “normal” jar but I got it open okay by my quite small man-hands with minimal fuss. I’d have just pierced the lid with a knife if I had to, that always does the trick when I can’t open jars.

ok, where to start... well i was dreaming about this stuff after hearing you can lose weight eating it. The jar was extremely tough to open but with the power of she-ra (my heroine from my younger days) i managed to open the jar😂. oh my gosh! how perfectly delicate to my taste buds- absolutely delicious, i polished off a plateful without realising(easy to get carried away) tomorrow me and my sauerkraut will conquer the world when i spread it on a hotdog! can't wait.... great value for money, wonderful best before date(just over a year still to go) and really really really tasty. buy it and you wont be disappointed. you will not be a 'sour kraut' after a bite lol

Arrived in excellent condition (in Portugal), due to very effective packaging! The taste is very pleasant and much milder than I thought it would be. The only problem is that it seems to disagree with me: every time I eat some, I ended up constipated! Probably nothing to do with the product itself though. Another point to make, is that I think this sauerkraut is pasteurised, as real fermented vegetables usually make a "fizzing" sound when you open the jar. Still, an option for those who can't get properly fermented raw veggies.

Fast delivery, properly boxed, love the stuff ! Great authentic German taste, problem I have though, I tend to keep going back and eating more!! Great with everything, but a natural with German sausages. Refined texture, not sloppy wet! Like some I bought before. Healthy food. Brilliant.

As you can see from the photo, the jar on the left is darker than the other five. The sauerkraut is off. Brown and foul smelling. Lid was loose. To get a refund I'd have to send all six back. Life is too short. But be aware if ordering that their quality control is not as it should be when packing.
