Product Description ------------------- Sweet almond oil is a fabulous base oil, carrier oil, and for sensitive skin. Once you have mastered the basics of essential oils it is a good idea to listen to your body and start creating recipes that work best for you and your circumstances. The viscosity of sweet almond oil is ideal for absorbing and carrying oils that are best used in combination or in smaller quantities - a carrier oil par excellence. DIRECTIONS Sweet almond oil for the skin Many essential oils are just too volatile or sensitive to be used in great quantities, so you need to catch their essence in a carrier oil. Sweet Almond oil is an all rounder, and perfect as a massage, skin, and bath, oil base. It can also be used by itself. It has a very pleasing sweet and nutty scent, and is absorbed quickly and easily by the skin without leaving behind greasy or sticky residues. It's full of oleic and E which are recommended for y skin. In all, sweet almond oil is a fabulous moisturiser whether used by itself or used with other essential oils. Sweet almond oil for internal use Sweet almond oil also makes a delicious oil to use as an alternative oil for a salad dressing and to drizzle over roasted veggies. Its taste and nuttiness make it perfect for this. Instead of olive oil, you can drizzle sweet almond oil over your favourite salad. A tablespoon of almond oil also brings a nutty flavour and silky, consistency to smoothies. Sweet Almond oil should not be heated as the heat will ruin the quality of the cold pressed, unrefined oil.
