Flimsier than it looks in the photo
This lock is much flimsier than it looks in the photos but I bought it for locking a helmet to my motorcycle and it is fit for this purpose. At the price not bad value for money but will offer no significant protection of anything against a vaguely competent thief. A deterrent rather than proper security. Not sure anyone would wish to nick my well worn and somewhat malodorous motorcycle helmet so ok for me!

Pretty good! It's great to have at least one long length lock because thieves will honestly take ANYTHING, so it's nice to be assured you have almost everything locked down! The reason it is 4 stars and not 5, is because the combination locking mechanism is a little bit annoying, you have to fiddle with it a lot!Note:This should only be used as a secondary or as I like to use it as my 3rd lock (I have 4 locks for my bike)

This lock can ONLY prevent occasional thieves that decide not to touch your bike AS SOON AS THEY SEE YOUR BIKE LOCKED.This combination lock has 4 digits, each ranges from 1-6, forming no more than 1300 combinations. If you try out every combination sequentially from 1111 to 6666 with 6 comb/sec (which can be easily accomplished by just pulling the cable by one hand and rolling the digit wheels by the other hand), you will need 216 seconds (=3.6 minutes) in total, which is fairly short.Even worse, you can't change the key code, and if the code is uniformly distributed from 1111 to 6666, the expected time of brute-forcing the combination will be 108 sec (=1.8 mins). The key code of my lock is very near 1111, so if a thief decide to try from 1111, he won't spend half a minute. It's like saying, "Hey buddy come here, work and get paid!"

Great for the money, but don't leave alone for long!
This is good value for money, but in reality unless you only want to leave your bike to go in a shop for a few minutes, basically similar to my usage; you really could do with extra protection. The cable isn't as thick as it looks in the photo, that said I am not being critical of this lock and weren't disappointed as it was really cheap. That said any more than 2 minutes I would always go for a thicker hardened chain or U lock, or armoured cable type and not a combination type either.

Cheap but effective
Good length and adequate thickness for short library/shop visits or primary schools - but I wouldn't trust it for extended periods in public places and certainly not overnight - it is thin enough to be cut with a large wire cutter or pliers even (a hacksaw would take ~30secs)It is a good length though, and curls up nicely so easy to tie to the bike when not in use.

Strong
This is a nice strong product, a bit annoying you can’t change the code though so 4 stars only from me

Thumbs up
An alright lock for the money. Does what it says on the tin & stops opportunists from nicking my 20yr old push rod.

Too small and lightweight to be useful. CODE CANNOT BE CHANGED.
I bought this to secure my new bike at work, which although it is a secure site, I still wanted something more substantial if I stop somewhere on the way home.Although the written product description does mention the width of the cable (6mm) and the fact the code CANNOT BE CHANGED, this isn't immediately apparent. When it arrived I was surprised by both and so have ended up returning it.I'm fairly confident a determined thief could quite easily snip through the cable and the permanent lock code is an annoying oversight. Not really a product that inspires confidence or security, but at the price I'm not sure what else I should have expected.
