Wera 135926 Kraftform Kompakt W1 Maintenance Kit, Silver

So as an industrial electrician I was looking for a small set that fit in my tool bag that would allow me to fix breakdowns effectively and quickly. This set is exactly that, from the initial presentation of the packaging and the smart presentation of the tool set within I was impressed immediately. The quality of wera tools are second to none, after months of daily use the heads on the screwdrivers have held up very well, the interchangeable bits prevent you from having to carry around multiple drivers taking up loads of space. The socket set provided is also very high quality and the colour coding on the individual sockets allow you to quickly and effectively select the correct size without spending previous minutes trying to read the sizes in bad lighting. A nice touch on the case is that the sockets lock into place with a nice twisting action preventing them going flying if you accidentally knock it off of the side! On the back of the case is a Velcro strip which you can attach to a wall on your workbench with the sticky Velcro backing for easy access when needed. The small screw holder is something I’ve never thought I’d use but I have found it rather useful at times when I’m in hard to reach locations! Finally the wera joker spanner, absolutely spot on bit of kit, it takes a little bit of getting used to but once you get the hang of it it works very well allowing bolts to be held in place at a distance without the risk of them dropping behind hard to reach places. In conclusion if you’re looking for a compact, high quality set that will see use everyday then this is the kit you need to buy.

Bought this set as I have various fittings that require different screwdriver heads (shimano disc brake pad screws, upvc doors etc.), and this set had all the key ones I needed. The screwdrivers are excellent precision tools. The heads are well engineered, and managed to get purchase on screws that other cheap screwdrivers had failed to turn. I can't comment on the VDE nature as I've not used them for electrical work. The Zyklop driver is fantastic, and great for various work on my bike and home DIY. The flexibility of the driving angle means it can be used in lots of different ways, and seems really well built. The only criticism I have is of the joker spanner - a single spanner seems a fairly odd choice for a 'variety' set, and I've not used it yet as it hasn't fitted anything I've needed a spanner for. An adjustable spanner would have been a much better fit for this set, although their new adjustable spanners may not have been developed when the set was brought out. Anyway, a great set that looks great and is packed with high quality tools - highly recommended.

Excellent quality - magnetic heads.

Good set, has been usefully. Only issues I have encountered are the plastic clip that keeps the zyclops in the case broke second time I used it, and whenever I have tried tonise it at the in between angle, it either snaps to straight or 90 degrees. Apart from that, good quality tools.

Quality set, So compact and convenient. So many jobs can be completed without a whole tool box of tools.

Not cheap, but this is quality. Very useful selection of vde screw driver heads and sockets. Handyvsize that can easily go in rucksack with other tools.
