L’Oréal Professionnel | Serie Expert | Silver Shampoo | Grey, White or Light Blonde Hair | 500 ml

I've used it regularly for few months. As stated in topic, the best thing about it that it doesn't leave hair purple if you leave it for bit too long like the cheap purple shampoo does. It makes my bleached hair lovely silver colour. It does dry my hair slightly but after using good conditioner this is not a big issue. If I don't use it for a week or so I use just that shampoo and leave it for about 3-4 minutes and result is amazing. For daily use in the shower I simply mix in my hand a little of this shampoo with ordinary shampoo and leave it on for 30 seconds or so and it keeps the silver colour nicely. This way it lasts longer as it is quite expensive. Will never go back to the cheap version of purple shampoo.

Lovely shampoo but you need to gauge the timing carefully, works a treat on keeping my colour fresh and used every 4 or 5 days has the desired effect, I have steel silver hair as a result of bleaching and toner and this keeps any yellow at bay keeping my colour shiny and fresh I use the L’Oréal vitamino colour range in between, shampoo conditioner and mask with great effects ct despite bleaching my hair is shiny and in great condition, long as I have silver hair I will use this shampoo.

I am not disappointed one bit. The best purple shampoo I've tried by far. It's worth spending that little bit more compared to high Street brands. It removed all the brassiness in the first wash that had accumulated over the weeks and my hair looks like I've been to the salon! Love it! Yes it does leave your hair dry but nothing that a decent conditioner can't sort.

I’ve been using a different salon strength purple shampoo on my light blonde hair, which gave me grey hair with a slight pinkish/lilac hue. I am actually growing out my natural grey so wanted to blend my old dyed blonde better, but I could only use my purple shampoo on the blonde ends. This L’Oreal purple shampoo is for grey and white hair and having read the reviews via google on it I decided it was worth trying on both my grey and blonde hair. Well just one use and my salt and pepper hair is definitely brighter, more silvery - fab! However, my dyed blonde looks more brownish, with a slight orangey tinge (slight mind) my ends were looking ashy grey with the other purple shampoo. Hmmm, I will try it again and see if it improves or gets worse. I’ll update my review too. I will say it’s super in grey/silver hair but unless your hair is very light blonde any darker blonde in hair does look light brown, I was not expecting that. It did leave my hair soft and it smells nice, I used disposable gloves, there was no staining on me or my shower though it’s a bright purple. It lathers up well too. I used a regular conditioner after.

Did the job

Like this product as it doesn’t turn my hair purple .... (not that i mind purple but some types of toning shampoo do tend to leave a purple tinge). It does however give my hair a very nice ash grey colour and as I am trying to grow out my grey and embrace it this works brilliantly. Great value for money as a little goes a long way. If I had to find one negative it would be that it does tend to leave my hair feeling ever so slightly dry but use a good conditioner afterwords and the problem is solved.

On time and hoping it will work

I tried a lot of this purple shampoos from the market…the cheap brands just make strange marks on the hair, without having a good effect on the hair. The purple shampoo from Maroccanoil it’s not drying the hair so much like the others but the effect on the yellow it’s not so powerful. The one from Kerastase ultra violet it’s amazing how change the yelp from the blonde hair, but it was drying to much my hair and my scalp. Once I was trying this purple shampoo from Loreal and it’s the best shot for my blonde hair. It’s makes my hair just perfect like colour, without drying my hair and make it like a brush. I just love this product. In the rest, I am using only Kerastase products for my hair, after I tried all of them.

Color correcting shampoo .Applied on wet hair u can keep it for half an hour and wash. Later apply conditioner .Excellent product to keep your hair colour looking fresh.

Fue un obsequio para mi mami, por muchos años se tiñó el cabello de rojo, pero ahora ya no podía con las canas... Así que cambió completamente su look, a pesar de que ya se dejó la camitas el cabello lo tiene mega brilloso, sus camas súper hidratadas las cuales resaltan mucho. Además de eso le da sólo a la luz del sol un tono un tanto lila que la verdad nos mega encanto se vean así. Ella lo lava de 3 a 4 veces por semana y el shampoo es súper rendidor y de muy buena calidad.

I made a decision to not color my hair anymore (embrace my beautiful naturally curly hair and natural highlights) and I noticed in the last year, my hair has more silver than ever before but my previous black hair looked more brown, which was frustrating because it looked mousy and dull. This purple shampoo neutralizes any brassiness, making the dark hair look darker and richer and the silver hair brighter! Remember, purple neutralizes brassy gold tones. If you use a blue based shampoo, your hair will turn GREEN! This purple based shampoo is great and I also use Alberto VO5 Conditioning Hairdressing Gray or White or Silver Blonde Hair. I put the shampoo on my hair while it's dry, then add a little water and massage it in. Leave it on for about five minutes (be sure to get all your hair including your hairline), then rinse, rinse, rinse. This is more so for people with salt and pepper hair that is virgin hair and not treated with any chemicals. I imagine that people with whiter hair may not need to leave this on as long. I did not have any purple strands on my silver hairs. This shampoo did not stain my hands or nail polish but use gloves if you are concerned it may stain your skin. Use a dark towel because you will see the purple in the towel. This also works great on relaxed hair going silver gray or white.

Das Shampoo ist super! Nach jahrzehntelanger Blondiererei (und täglichem Glätten) waren meine Haare dermaßen im A...., dass ich sie mir 1 Jahr lediglich blond habe ! färben ! lassen. Dass die Haare beim Färben nicht so schön hell - wie bei einer Blondierung - werden, ist klar. Aber ich hatte die Wahl... etwas blonde Haare oder abgebrochene Haare ;) Mittlerweile wird wieder vorsichtig blondiert. Der Unterschied vom Ansatz und den Längen (natürlich mit weichem Übergang) ist deutlich zu sehen. Die gefärbten Längen wirkten schon fast rötlich. Dies konnte mein von mir sehr lange verwendetes Silber-Shampoo einer anderen professionellen Marke leider nicht groß ändern. Dann sah ich das Foto aus der Rezension wo das Shampoo 1 h eingewirkt hatte (vielen Dank dafür :))) Das Ergebnis fand ich SO toll, dass ich das Shampoo unbedingt probieren musste. Ich habe es nur 15 Min einwirken lassen und meine Haare sehen super aus!! Das gelblich/rötliche ist verschwunden und die neuen blondierten Strähnen sind nahezu weiß. Leider - so mein ganz persönlicher und subjektiver Eindruck - riecht es nicht besonders gut. Da es die Haare jedoch - wie viele andere Silbershampoos auch - etwas austrocknet, ist hinterher eine Spülung/Kur eh Pflicht. Ich verwende anschließend noch einen Hitzeschutz und nach dem Föhnen und Glätten rieche ich es kaum noch. Ach ja, ich empfehle empfindlichen Leuten zu versuchen das Shampoo möglicht nicht auf die Kopfhaut zu geben. Bei meinem 1. Versuch mit dem Shampoo hab ich es schöön einmassiert und hatte hinter voll das unangenehme Gefühl auf der Kopfhaut. So ausgetrocknet, irgendwie irritiert. Wer so ein Shampoo benutzt, dem ist sicher klar, dass es nicht gerade eine "Gesundkur" darstellt. Haarfärbemittel sind ja mehr oder wenige alle bei Öko-Test durchgefallen. Ich verwende es daher nicht zu oft, lasse es nicht an die Kopfhaut und erfreue mich an meinen aschigen Haaren. Klare Kaufempfehlung!
