Food quality was good the cat seems to like these occasionally the texture is just right for her

We had tried our rescue cat on some individual tins of this from the supermarket before buying as some reviews said that cats could be a little picky with this. I imagine it’s simply because it’s not like your standard icky low percentage meat wet cat food. And most cats are ingrained into this diet, so it’s something very different. Firstly packaging- it’s a small square cardboard box with the boxes of 8 tins packed inside. Very easy to store and keeps everything together. Another major draw for us is that Lily’s kitchen tins and packaging are completely recyclable. Unlike all the millions of cat food pouches other companies still use. The cat food itself is fab. Yes as other people have mentioned it smells a little stronger than other cat foods but I honestly believe it’s bevause it’s full of the good stuff, and much less of the bad. Our cat has tried all the varieties now and loves the lot but I would say hunters hotpot disappears the fastest! The texture of the meals is much nicer than other brands. The price of these is fantastic compared to per portion in the supermarket. Yes it’s more expensive than your standard brands but what you’re getting is 65% real meat and a lot of goodness. And I have to say we’ve noticed the difference, her coat is glossy and soft and she seems much more interested in her food. And I do believe what they say - pay more for food and less for vets bills. All in all I 100% back Lily’s kitchen, not just for their good cat food ingredients but also for their values - recyclable packaging etc. And I know our cat backs them too :) but then she’s totally lead by her stomach!

I have a really fussy cat, but she absolutely loves this food. She was a rescue cat and I must’ve tried every cat food on the market and she turned her nose up at everything until I tried this. I just wish it didn’t have to be so expensive.

Cat loves it good selection of flavours

(This review is for the "Mixed 32 pack.") I always feed my cat a very wide range of different food, I think this way I make sure she has all the nutrients she needs. My wife and I read the labels carefully and only buy cat food that has high percentage of meat/fish and as little as possible sugar. Well, this Lily's food seems to tick the box. Now, the problem is our cat simply dislike it. I got a variety of flavors, none of them being good enough for our 'gourmet stray cat' taste. We have some friends who feed their cat 'Organic Lily's' and we got a few 'fish' samples from them which our cat also arrogantly despised. We're keeping the food stored and will try it again in winter (2018/2019) and see if the season makes these flavors more appealing to our cat. So, what 'cat food' does our cat like? The Swedish brand "Bozita"... boy doesn't she 'binge eat' it all no matter the flavor... So, why do l give Lily's Kitchen 3 stars? Well, I wanted to leave 'neutral feedback,' that's hopefully 3 stars. According to the information provided in the label this food should be quite good; however, our cat dislikes it to the point of approaching to it, smelling it from the distance and staying away from it like the plague (let alone the 'lamb' flavor... With that one she leaves the house only to come back the following day... even when raining...). This is quite surprising as she pretty much likes and eats everything, from raw eggs to feta cheese so it surely does not serve its purpose for now (we'll see in winter). (I can see some cat owners panicking because I feed my cat raw eggs and feta cheese from time to time... It must be because I hate her deeply and can't wait to get rid of her, right? My mother had 2 cats who lived 21 and 22 years... Maybe a varied diet isn't that bad after all.) On a side note, I have the feeling Lily's Kitchen targets more the owner (with those fancy names for the flavors and nice cover designs) than the cat itself. As ever, YMMV and 'YCMMV' ;-) I'll update this review if anything changes.

My cats love this food and we can get some really good offers buying it on Amazon compared to the supermarkets. It is very easy to mush up if you have cats that don't like to eat a full pate like our eldest. It isn't full of junk like some other foods and our cats have super shiny coats whilst eating it, our vets always mention it when our boys go for their 6 monthly visit. The trays stack nicely on each other which makes storage a breeze and the boxes themselves aren't too big if you didn't want to take the trays out individually.

TIBBY THE CAT LOVES IT

Very expensive and will not buy again. My cats have always been fed on mjammjam which used to be reasonably priced, healthy, sugar free and extremely palatable, as in there was never an empty plate. Ever. This seemed to be a viable alternative, but both my cats turn their noses up and it smells and looks horrible if not eaten immediately. Definitely not in the same league.

Me ha gustado que la textura y el aroma son agradables: la comida tiene una consistencia húmeda, fácil de comer y digerir. Mi gato se la come sin dificultad, sin dejar restos, lo que me da tranquilidad de que le gusta. También noto que tras cambiar a Lily’s Kitchen, su pelo está más suave y con mejor brillo — se ve más sano. Además, no he detectado molestias digestivas: sus heces siguen siendo normales, lo que indica que la comida le sienta bien. Por último, me da confianza saber que es una marca que apuesta por ingredientes de calidad, lo que me transmite seguridad al alimentarlo. En resumen: muy contento con mi compra. Si buscas una comida húmeda para gato que le guste, que le siente bien y de buena calidad — Lily’s Kitchen es una muy buena opción.

My cat likes the food and it seems decent, but there are these very hard pieces that I keep finding, like bone or stone. Idk if this is normal but it does not look edible. I will not repurchase because of this.

Tra i tanti alimenti umidi per gatti, la linea Lily’s Kitchen si distingue come una delle poche che riesce a coniugare qualità degli ingredienti, appetibilità e rispetto per il benessere dell’animale. La variante con salmone, pollo e paté di gamberetti è un vero e proprio piccolo pasto gourmet, preparato con ingredienti naturali e senza cereali, pensato per offrire una nutrizione completa e bilanciata ai gatti adulti. La prima cosa che colpisce aprendo la vaschetta è il profumo autentico, lontano anni luce da quello artificiale di tanti prodotti industriali. La consistenza del paté è morbida, compatta ma non secca, e si mescola facilmente con eventuale croccantino se si desidera alternare consistenze. Si percepisce subito che non si tratta del classico umido economico: qui si parla di carne e pesce veri, cucinati con cura e con un equilibrio perfetto tra le proteine del pollo, gli omega del salmone e la delicatezza del gamberetto. Un altro punto di forza è la ricetta priva di cereali e derivati, ideale per i gatti con stomaco sensibile o intolleranze. L’assenza di riempitivi inutili e la presenza di ingredienti naturali come minerali, vitamine e oli essenziali fanno sì che il prodotto aiuti anche a mantenere pelo lucido, digestione regolare e buon livello di energia. Nel mio caso, il risultato è stato sorprendente: il mio gatto, solitamente selettivo e incline a lasciare metà ciotola, finisce ogni vaschetta con entusiasmo e si presenta puntualmente all’orario del pasto successivo. Dopo alcune settimane di utilizzo costante, ho notato un miglioramento del tono muscolare, del pelo e della vitalità generale. Le vaschette da 85g hanno anche un formato pratico e igienico, perfetto per servire una porzione fresca ogni volta senza sprechi. La confezione multipack da 19 unità garantisce una buona scorta e un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo, considerando la qualità premium del prodotto. In definitiva, Lily’s Kitchen ha creato un mangime umido che si avvicina più a un piatto cucinato con amore che a un semplice alimento per animali. È un investimento nel benessere del proprio gatto, e i risultati si vedono giorno dopo giorno: più appetito, più vitalità e un aspetto complessivamente più sano e felice.
