GUARANTEED TO WIPE OUT EVEN HUGE COLONIES!
Tinkering in my garden the other day tidying a huge bed that accommodates my 12 foot tall beautiful banana trees and was horrified to discover an absolutely colossal black ants nest! This thing was like 4 meters long and a meter and a half wide. They were also branching out and creating little pilot nests on some of my treasured Bonsai plant pots!! I couldn't see all the entrances so I topped up the entire area with compost 8 inches deep to force them to tunnel out and reveal themselves. Within 30 minutes I literally saw thousands upon thousands of ants pouring out of various sections in the bed, maybe 9 locations in total. And that showed me where to put the gel. And even a splurge right up on the trunk of one banana tree close to where a new bunch of bananas was beginning to flower that the ants were all over. They absolutely devoured the stuff covering it so densely all you could see was a black writhing masses. Within about an hour they had consumed TWO entire tubes of this gel and I assume carried a ton of it home deep into the nest to feed their chief Empress egg layer. I started the whole process around 7:00 p.m. in the evening, and by the time I went out 6:00 a.m the next morning there was not a single ant in sight. Two tubes had wiped out this entire huge colony in one evening. The stuff is pretty expensive but if you're serious about getting rid of ants in your garden this will obliterate them.

Tested and Trusted - It works
I bought this last year and I don’t usually do reviews. I am now as I’ve just tried another gel which had good reviews but didn’t work well so I searched for this one again and glad to have found it so I am doing my review from last year. I put the gel down and ants ate it and then after a couple days no more ants. Simple and effective. The other one I just used didn’t kill ants at the nest and instead ants died slowly out on their duties so I have had to clean up hundreds of tiny dead ants in all manner of places. The other gel also only worked the first day and then ants started avoiding it. I just assumed all were the same but no. This one is tried and tested so I’ve just ordered it again. We get ants every year around this time. Apparently there’s a nest outside our utility room in the garden (so the guy I paid £100 to sort them said a couple years ago). Now we do it ourselves for around £15 and we’ll now choose this gel every year without fail as it is tried and tested and it works. Sorry to the seller for not reviewing earlier!

Combat Indoor and Outdoor Ant Killing Gel
The Combat Ant Killing Gel is the "Trojan Horse" of pest control. Instead of the instant satisfaction of a spray that only kills the ants you can see, this gel uses a slow-acting poison called Fipronil. The foragers find the sweet, high-moisture gel, mistake it for a feast, and carry it back to the heart of the colony to feed the larvae and the queen. It’s a patient man’s game; you’ll see ants swarming the bait for a few days, but that's exactly what you want—it’s the "last supper" that wipes out the entire nest from the inside. The syringe applicator is a masterstroke for precision, letting you inject the gel directly into those tiny cracks in the skirting boards or behind the kitchen sink where ants actually live. Because it’s a gel rather than a spray, you aren’t coating your kitchen in a fine mist of chemicals.

Great Value, Works Fast
Easy to apply, highly effective, and very affordable. Ants were drawn to the gel quickly, and within a few days the problem was resolved. Found it highly effective against pharaoh ants.

Incredible stuff!
We have suffered from ants invading the kitchen and living room, plus other downstairs rooms for years, from multiple nests. We’ve tried traps, with limited success and sprays which kill many quickly and helps create a barrier for a while, but they only have limited success. I expected similar from this, but I became aware of this after reading a test from multiple solutions and this was at the very top. I applied this near 2 nests and the ants couldn’t get enough of the gel. They spent hours consuming the lot, even the next morning there were perhaps a hundred or so just consuming this gel, even while a lot of ants were dead nearby. The next afternoon after application, there were 1 or 2 ants about, but since then we have seen none. 3 or so days without seeing even 1 ant later and I feel confident enough to claim it to be a revelation and I feel confident that this is all we’ll ever need should there be a recurrence of ants again as long as it’s available to buy.

Useless Ants won’t touch it
Total disappointment. The ants wouldn’t eat this at all. The syringe is badly designed press it and the whole load shoots out at once, wasting the product. What does stick to the wall dries out in under an hour, so there’s no bait left for the ants to find later. Didn’t control anything. Money wasted

This stuff is awesome
I have been plagued by ants every year since I bought my house. You name it I’ve tried it on general ant killers. Ant powder, bait boxes, peppermint, general spraying them….none has worked. I even paid £170 for one area to be treated but they were everywhere and getting in the house. I came across this when, once again, all my other efforts had failed and I was at the end of my tether. I read the reviews and decided to order. I had identified one particular spot which I knew was a route out of one of the nests for them. I applied the gel liberally and did some other areas which I thought might get them and waited. I watched for about 20 minutes while they mooched around the sides of the gel not taking much notice thinking it was another wasted effort. Came back another half an hour or so later and the gel was swarming with ants. I have never seen anything like it. It was dry weather so I left the gel and within two days the lot was gone, consumed by the ants. I didn’t notice any great difference until about 2-3 days later when I noticed big piles of dead ants daily around the entrance/exit of the nest. It had worked. This isn’t the end of the story as I was still getting ants in my house. I ordered some more and, after some lengthy observation, found more ant routes in other areas. Treated them with the same results. When it was wet weather I made the gel a little cover out of a plastic bottle to stop it washing away with a door for the ants to get in and out which worked well. I’ve no doubt there’s more nests that I need to target but it did the job on the ones I found. Flying ant day came, where I usually get an influx of them in my house, and I didn’t get one. I’ve since treated two more new nests that they were setting up. I think it’s likely to be a few years of treating various spots but this stuff worked as well as paying the pest people and far cheaper. I’m going to stock up and keep treating nests as I find them and hopefully one day be rid of them. The gel is easy to use. It can be a bit leaky from the tube so be ready at the area to treat when you open it. Although I used it liberally in certain areas, there was enough in the tube to treat a couple of areas. After putting down what I needed, I found that pulling the syringe plunger back slightly was the best way to store to stop any unwanted leaks. I also used nitrile gloves when treating just to be safe. I’ve not seen any activity from the areas I treated and it’s now been about 4-6 weeks. We will see next year. I’m going to stock up for the future. Would highly recommend but does require perseverance.

Packaging says it does not work on pharaoh ants
Description and multiple pictures on the product page explicitly specify that this stuff can work on pharaoh ants -whereas the packaging on the product I received (pictured) explicitly excludes them. Not sure what to make of that but as I'm battling pharaoh ants this is a frustrating and confusing potential waste of time and money.
