Original indian Earth Compact

Like many of you I was concerned about receiving this completely pulverized. Most of the time I would not order powdery things from amazon, wether they are make up or art supplies. Thankfully it arrived in perfect condition and it is most definitely an upgrade to the product we all know already. Beautiful color which can match just about most skin colors. I have always remember how much I loved Indian Earth back in the days. Happyily I was able to find it here in Amazon and ordered it right away. At first I ordered the little bottle as I use to be and of course it was great, but it could be little inconvinient cause it is difficult to carry. Anyways this is the same color the same product but in a compact, it comes with a brush you more likely will never use, matter of fact I still use the old applicator puff simply cause I am used to it. Higly recommend to those of you who already are familiar with this lovely "bronzer". You are getting a lot of product in this little container, just take care of it, it is a compact powder after all. I simply love it cause it looks natural (no shinny stuff) use a little bit and you get a glow, a little bit more and you will look tan! New users be aware, use a very tinny little bit, cause it is very concentrated. Very Happy!

I’ve tried many different bronzers and my number one complaint has been that many have an orange undertone. I was an Indian Earth fan when it was popular many years ago, so when I saw it on Amazon I had to buy it . Beginners may find it tricky to work with this product, but with a little practice you can achieve a natural looking glow. I use a round makeup brush for easier blending. Although some people said their compact came with a brush, mine did not, but it sounds like the brush that came with it was not very useful. Be sure to let it sit on your skin after applying before being tempted to add more product, because the warmth of your skin will bring out the true color and a little will go along way!

Highly pigmented like the original Indian earth, good quality but minus 1 star for the application brush which is really useless, honestly a puff would be better- something to minimize the amount of product that gets on the brush because a little goes a long way or maybe a plastic cover that only allowed so much product through, like a loose powder cover?

the indan earth gives light coverage so if your looking for full coverage for flaws it does not cover these. Also, if you have dark spots this will make them darker if you don't use a concealer first . I have olive skin and i mainly bought this product for when i get a tan and when I am in the heat, because this does not melt off like my heavy cover base. I purchased both the bottle and the compact and the compact is very convenient and travels well, I keep this in my purse. The puff that came with the product did not work well so If you use a larger powder brush when applying the Indian Earth it will go on better.

it's definitely the original! I love that it is in a compact that travels easily. Beware though, don't brush it on! This is concentrated, and you will easily brush on too much color - use an x-large cotton ball, and dab onto your cheeks sparingly. (The original ceramic pot of Indian Earth was closed with a large cork and came with a little wad of sheepskin fur. You would upend the corked container to distribute some color onto the bottom of the cork and then dab from that to your cheeks.)

I had purchased this originally in the small clay bottle and it was a lose powder. I really liked it and used it often until one day I dropped the clay container and it shattered. The powder went absolutely everywhere. I decided to order the compact and I am so happy I did!! Same great color and none of the mess! I still use the fluffy puff that came with the original product. I highly recommend this pressed powder!

Wishing they’d pack this item in box to ensure it does not break & powders all over. It’s a compact for a purpose. So if it’s broken to pieces, it’s unusable & creating stains everywhere else.

Can't beat Indian Earth

I love this stuff, it gives you such a beautiful sunkissed look. You have to use a dense brush and buff it in, because it is crazy pigmented. I can't imagine needing to buy a second one anytime soon because I use such a small amount each time. Been around since the 70's, gives you the original bronze glow! ☺️
