Amscan 1198110 Face and Body Paints, No Colour, 18 ml

I ordered this product for a halloween to make fake scars and a bullet hole. When it came it was surprisingly hard, I used a tool I had in a manicure set to get some out and had an attempt at making a bullet hole(I had watched a tutorial on how to do this on youtube). My top tips for using this product would be to first scoop it out using a small spatula/some kind of scoop or tool and then roll it quickly into a ball into your fingers, but not for too long otherwise it becomes really sticky and harf to work with. It is white so it is hard to blend into your natural skin tone but once it is on you dont notice it too much. I tried using a foundation over it and it was quite hard to get in to match, but this doesnt really matter. I have created many successful scars using this, and overall I think it is a very good product but needs a bit of getting used to. I would reccomend buying this product for any kind of special effects make-up.

I found the wax very easy to use - a tip however would be to use baby wipes and dampen your hands whilst using or shaping and moulding the wax. It gets very sticky and not easy to work with if you spend too long trying to mould it, or the weather is hot. I worked with it in 37 degrees heat plus with baby wipes and had very satisfing results. Spraying water on a pallet knife for good cuts helps the wax to stay in place and not drag, Overall it is dead easy to use I only practiced once with my sister before I started using it for cuts and bullet holes and had amazingly realistic effects. Definately worth having in any face paint kit highly recommend it.

The snazaroo SFX wax is really good stuff and does the job perfectly.I have used it in many of my SFX makeup ideas and it is of a high quality, however, just a few minor niggles.1) the wax is very hard so you will need some kind of spatula to scoop it out with2) it can't be used straight away as you need to warm it up a little bit in your hands to make it more pliable and easy to work with3) it's pretty much see thru however I have gotten over this by mixing the wax with a bit of my colour foundation (make sure it's really blended together or you will end up with streaks!!)If you can live with the things above, as I can then it's a stellar product and I wouldn't think twice about fe come ding this to anyone!

I had watched a number of videos on YouTube about this product. It looks fantastic when on but the only problem is that its basically candle wax...and everybody know whats happens to wax when the temperature rises or drops. Like I said when it was on it looked amazing (I used this to do the Jokers scares) but when I sweated it started to go like warm blue tac (Very sticky and a pain in the neck). After a few hours I went out with friends dressed up to a party, when I went outside it was very cold which caused the wax to go very hard...as soon as I moved my mouth that's when the real problems started...big hard chunks dropped off and that's when I had a reason to be "so serious". Overall I will most likely not buy again.

Used at Halloween for childrens party. Really easy to mould into shape when warmed in hand then applied on skin and smoothed out the edges. I used it to make bullet holes, small amount of wax which i rolled into ball and flattened slightly, applied to skin and used the end of a brush to make a hole, filled with fake blood and looked really effective and stayed on all night. Would highly recommend this, not difficult to use.

It is good value for money but can’t say that it’s the easiest product to use. When overworked or warm, becomes a bit of a mess

Came quickly and wasn't a problem when arrived.It was my first go so it was trial and error, would definitely recommend to beginners, worked perfectly for what i needed it for. I haven't tried a different wax as i am satisfied with this one,I found that you need to roll it around a bit in your hands to warm it up which makes it ten times easier to work with. It stays fine, but gets everywhere so wash your hands before touching anything. I had to take pictures of the work i had done so my camera was covered in it but came of very easily.

Wanneer het product te lang gekneed wordt zal het te snel smelten en verdwijnen. Ook het beschilderen gaat dan heel slecht.

Era la primera vez que utilizaba un producto de este tipo y me pareció fácil de usar. Hay que amasarlo un poco con las manos antes de solicitarlo para quitarle rigidez, pero se pegaba muy bien y aguantó puesto muchas horas. Buen resultado

This scar wax doesn't work very well. It's literally candle wax so you need to heat it up in your figures otherwise it doesn't have lumps of wax, but as soon as you warm it up it turns into a vaseline type substance. It came in the mail pretty fast though. The best I could get it to look with also a lot of other products help is what the picture looks like. Over all just really frustrating. It looked way worse in person
