For a couple years I’ve had acne on my inner thighs and lower abdomen. I tried every type of soap. Sulfur and Salicylic Acid Bar Soap, Dettol Anti-Bacterial Hand and Body Bar Soap, Dr. Bronner's - Pure-Castile Bar Soap, Defense Soap Original Bar Soap, Apple Cider Vinegar soap, Defense Acne Care Bar Soap, CeraVe Acne Foaming Cream Cleanser, CeraVe Cleanser for Psoriasis Treatment | With Salicylic Acid for Dry Skin Itch Relief & Latic Acid for Exfoliation. NONE of these products worked or helped clearing up this acne and pimples until I used Dermaharmony Pyrithione Zinc (ZnP) Therapy Soap. After just one week I saw a noticeable difference. There was less bumps and acne and it all started going away. I have now used it for more than a month and all these bumps and acne have completely disappeared. Apparently this zinc in the product is what has killed any fungus or type of infection that has been causing it. I can’t recommend this product enough. I continue to use it about 4 times a week to keep my skin clear. If you don’t rinse it off well, it might cause skin drying and some annoyance. It does not moisturize.

I slightly prefer the bar over the liquid. I use it once in the morning about 5 minutes before a shower. I’m treating my scalp and eyebrows for dandruff, part of my face for acne, the center of my chest for a small persistent reoccurring fungal infection and I’m starting to try it on my underarms (better odor control and calms the skin). For the fungal infection I’ve found it to be the equivalent of topical prescription creams and superior to oral anti fungal drugs. The oral RX drugs have unpleasant side effects and the rash always returns. I also have two small spots of acne. It calms the skin and prevents it from breaking out. For me it’s about an 80% improvement. The bar is fragrance free but the ingredients do have their own faint scent that I don’t care for. It washes away immediately so it’s a non issue. For some odd reason I’m getting better results with the bar than the liquid, which surprised me. Anyway that’s been my experience.

This is an excellent treatment for dandruff or just as a regular shampoo or bath bar.

I had heard that zinc soap helps with fungus infections. I have had a stubborn one on my big toe. It seems to be helping. I should mention I throw everything I can at it and this is just another thing in my arsenal to use against this stubborn thing.

I get HORRIBLE ITCHY SCRATCHY GREASY DANDRUFFY scalp. Started when I was a teen. Zinc is the only thing OTC treatment that has worked. Head & Shoulders never worked and smells bad. I discovered this product after Dial discontinued their zinc hair and body wash, which I used for years. As long as I use this every 1-2 days, my scalp doesn't itch. Does wonders for my sanity. It works best if I let the lather sit in my hair for a few minutes before rinsing. I use this instead of shampoo. It does leave my hair dry, but that's true of any soap. Conditioner or beard oil fix that.
