Wow! Glitter Embossing Powder 6 Piece Set - Vintage Collection

Arrived swiftly via The Royal Mail. The powders are as pictured and described. I haven't used them all yet but I like very much the slightly unusual colours (those slightly dusty, faded greens/pinks/blues); they will complement my vintage style cards rather well.I've used these for a while now, they achieve very pretty effects but there are a few caveats for them. As another reviewer points out - these are embossing powders enriched with glitter so you need to shake the container before use; also, a hint I picked up from Youtube, hold the card level and heat from below so that the glitter can sink into the melting powder, you get a much smoother result . In more specific detail re what the colour mixes seem to be - the vintage champagne is pearl powder with gold glitter, vintage romance is pale pink powder with iridescent glitter, vintage peacock is almost black powder with turquoise glitter, vintage candy cane is red powder with iridescent glitter, vintage jade is a sparkle powder with ambergris green glitter and vintage amethyst is a purple powder with iridescent glitter.

Great value lovely choice of colours

I would recommend shaking the bottles before using them as they have glitter in as well as the fine grain embossing powder and because of this you don't always get a smooth/soft finish once embossed. Overall I would recommend these vintage embossing powders

Brilliant range of Embossing Powders. Looks stunning when Embossed. A Couple of them look even better done on Darker card.

I have used these before and I think they are very good quality.
