HOLY CRAP!!! This movie was AWESOME!!!
This is a film about the Yemeni Civil War that it still going on I believe, and takes place in 2017. Interesting anecdote, I was seeing a Filipino girl at the time and she was working in Abu Dhabi. This movie is about UAE (Emerati) troops getting ambushed in a mountain valley in their MRAP vehicles which can apparently take many RPG hits by Houti Rebels. I would say this film was cross between the American film The Outpost which dealt with an American FOB getting attacked from the mountain cliffs in Afghanistan, and the Chinese film Operation: Red Sea which dealt with a Chinese SF team that went in to Yemen to evacuate out Chinese citizens in 2015. That's a kick ass film too if you haven't seen it. It has a bit of Chinese military propaganda in it, but it was a kick ass war film.

A solid war movie
The entire movie looks and feels like a Hollywood production. In particular, almost every soldier (main characters/protagonists of the movie) looks and feels like an American troop deployed to a foreign country. However, there is something lacking in terms of character depth. As a result, no single solider in this movie truly stands out. For me, the most unforgettable part of the movie is actually not those soldiers, but the solo female pilot of the only Apache chopper in the movie. She's amazingly calm, fast, and precise. She eventually exited the battlefield with both the chopper and herself unscathed. I don't think I have ever seen another female pilot controlling a combat aircraft in any such war movies, except in a documentary film. This is the first and only film from UAE that I have watched.

The actual battle in Yemen is among the most accurate war movies available
The accuracy of employment, maneuver, and equipment by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Armed Forces against ISIS/AQ-Yemen terrorists in a godforsaken desert and brutal terrain, ISIS/AO equipped and trained by North Korea is among the best war movies available. This is a true story. The UAE Army was mostly organized and trained by US military veterans operating under contract not the State Department and Pentagon. UAE purchased very best equipment and know how to use it. The movie is an example of the difference. The acting and captions are not Hollywood but that's makes it a great movie. They aren't acting: they are mostly real UAE soldiers with first hand experience, veterans. Good they are on our side.

Good movie
Comments about the dubbing being bad are overblown. First couple of minutes, yes. After that was totally natural.
F**!
I thought it sucked.
I don't know how on earth this movie has 3.9 Stars. Horrible acting. It seemsike a really stupid plot...even a half wit commander wouldn't send a small patrol into a ravine like that. It was like watching a REALLY BAD soap opera.

Took the moral high ground in entertainment over battle movies of other armies engaged in conflict
For the most part the dialogue throughout the movie, although English dubbing seemed to indicate the absence of the obscenity that is prevalent in most American made films of war and battlefield soldier banter.
