It is a demijohn, not the one as pictured however. (read update)
You do get a demijohn, however it isn't like the one pictured, instead it is a more modern demijohn design (towards the neck around the neck), compared to the vintage dmeijohn they have shown (stays the same circumference until it meets at the neck), still functional for my purpose but it wouldn't be a 5L demijohn, intead it would only hold an british gallon (4.5L). (Vintage demijohn on the left filled with a brew, the one I brought empty on the right) Update - I originally gave this three stars because of the above I have now used the one I had purchased, and so far it has not cracked and has served their purpose, but this is not why I have given it 5 stars. I brought another demijohn from these guys and this time I got a 5l demijohn, and by the looks of it a fairly high quality one (thick glass, appears to possibly be green glass, which is amazing for brewing) which is brilliant, I don't know why my original order was a different type of demijohn, it seems the type of demijohn you get is random as to what they have in stock? Anyway very chuffed about this order.

Good Value Sturdy Glass Demijohns
I was very pleased to find these Demijohns, as I was not sure how available these glass ones might be now. They were good value considering that they should last indefinitely. I rather like their slightly tinted effect and it may be good for some wines. Very quick delivery by DPD within less than two days after I ordered them. Happy all round, thank you! Update - when dismantling the (also very nice and sturdy) cardboard box and other packaging to use on her allotment paths, my wife noticed the two rubber bungs and two fermentation locks which were included, which I'd not noticed (or expected) - very helpful. Thanks!
