Essie Rock The Runway Couture Gel Polish

I can usually get about 5-7 days wear using these gel nail varnishes. It’s important to prep the nail correctly, as you would if applying gel polish with a uv lamp. But these are perfect if you can’t be bothered with using gel and uv lamps and the agg of removing gel polish, along with the damage that gels can do to your nails. These polishes are a good alternative if you are going away for a long weekend, or have some occasion where you want nail polish to last more than a day or two. This is a nice shade too. The more layers you apply the darker the shade becomes.

Does what it says. No chipped nails for 2 weeks. Brilliant

It’s a bit dense/chalky, but if you mix it with the clear Essie you already have, like I do, just a small amount will give you a lovely sheer pink. Dries pretty quick. I will assume, just like any other Essie, it stays on for a decent while.

Absolutely love it, had it on for 1 week now and still no chipping, it dries quite quickly, the top coat makes it even more shiny, really looks like gel nails. Will def be buying more colours😁

This seemed (in the picture) to give a pearl essence look although you can't know that until it arrives when this did it disappointed us because it was so far from our mind what we needed. It looks too sheer so you need to add layers then it has a strange shiny effect that looked not desirable. I love this brand but we're not a fan of this colour sadly.

Love the colour. Goes on easily with nice brush. Great nail gel. Doesn't chip for days especially after using the top coat gel. The look is shiny and goes on smooth.

This came out very thick and it was impossible to put a thin coat on the nails. It was very streaky which is normally fixed with the second coat but in this case it looked even worse. Within hours it was chipping badly and looked really awful. I removed it the next day and it took some effort to remove it! One of the worst nail varnishes I have ever encountered and after I chucked it away it ocurred to me that it could have been and old or faulty batch. Never again. I have used Essie before and it was certainly better than this.
