Used in a tropical climate twice daily on hair and body, skin was clean but it left my hair a little dry, probably because I bleach my hair, I felt protected but used it alongside other incognito products for complete coverage. I like that it is made from natural ingredients, smells nice and I still have a have a quarter bottle remaining.

Great product , worked well

It worked reasonably well, didn't prevent bites 100%, however it was low season, not sure how it would stand in high season. after the first bites, I also bought a repellant in a local store as a backup.

Have used this product on multiple trips as an additional mosquito repellent and it has always seemed to work effectively with the number of bites on a night time droppings significantly after use, also the product has a nice citronella scent. Would buy again

I bought the Incognito Java Citronella Hair and Body Wash to take with me to Spain, planning to use it after showering at the pool. It has a nice, refreshing scent and feels good on the skin. While it does seem to help with insect repellent, I’m not completely sure how effective it is on its own for keeping bugs away. I’ve learned that you need a multi-faceted approach to tackle mosquitoes—like using a spray, burning citronella incense, and using mosquito plugs. My advice is not to rely solely on this product for mosquito protection. It’s a good addition to your defence, but you’ll need other methods to stay bug-free.

I do a lot of gardening so am prey to bugs that bite. Washing with this in the morning helps to keep those pesky bugs away.

I almost never write reviews about my purchases, but feel that I have to in this case. This is a fantastic product, I’ve just returned from a trip to Thailand and in the past have been feasted on by the local mozzie population, not this time however as I used this twice a day and the little blighters went out of their way to avoid me. One bottle is enough for a 16 day trip. So if you don’t want to end up as lunch and dinner for the annoying little twats then get this.

Loved this! I used it while on vacation where mosquitoes were everywhere and it helped tremendously. Incognito is for hair and body combine it with a good repellent spray and you’ll be bite proof!

Auch wenn ich sagen muss, dass ich trotz Anwendung des Produktes von Mücken gestochen wurde, kommt es mir doch so vor, als wären es wesentlich weniger gewesen, als normal. Mir ist außerdem bekannt, dass die Wirkung des Zitronenduftes gegen Mücken sowieso etwas umstritten ist, weshalb es mich nicht einmal überrascht, dass das Produkt nicht das hält, was es verspricht. Das Produkt an sich ist jedoch recht gut. Haut und Haare werden gepflegt und der Duft ist auch nicht unangenehm.
