Tilly my horsefield tortoise has had many different types of bedding and although she loves making a mess in top soil and sand mix,it also creates a nice mess for me. It's hard to distinguish if she's been to the toilet whereas the aspen bedding is easy to glance at and identify any faeces. There's also no odour which is perfect for the front room!She digs down in it and loves creating her bed for the night!Great price for a great quantity!

Recommend 100% for a corn snake
The only medium that I use now for my corn snake. The vivarium has a floor area of: 90cms x 40cms and one bag gives a generous coverage of approximately 6cms deep. This is perfect for him to bury under and make tunnels. There is absolutely no dust and it's a breeze to clean out. I'm not sure if this would be suitable for a more humid environment, but I no longer need to look further for any alternative for my purpose. I think the texture may possibly aid in the shedding process, in two years, my corn has had no issues. I thoroughly recommend this 100%

Great product for snakes
Purchased for my corn snake. Big enough bag to last nearly a year with regular cleaning of vivarium. Dust free and no problems after two years’ continued use.

Well, my corn snake likes it....
Nice product. Went down in the tank well. Easy to clean out and my corn snake likes it. He's borrowing around happily.

EXCELLENT!!!
After a lot of research I got this for Miss Lily, my beautiful wee hermann's tortoise. She loves to borrow in to it at night and with it being dust free and soft it's perfect! I I would highly recommend this bedding and so would wee Miss Lily!

Received my product in pristine condition. Great service overall.
Spread the substrate evenly over the bottom of the enclosure to a depth of at least 1-2\" (2.5-5cm). Spot-clean daily and completely replace every two or three weeks, or more frequently if it becomes heavily soiled or wet. If you are using an under tank heatmat as your heat source do not use a thick layer of Aspen as this may cause the heatmat to overheat.
