Having used these set of lights on roads at night, some of which aren't lit, I can say that these lights do what they're supposed to do. I recommend you also wear a hi-vis vest, just in case the batteries run out, but thankfully this hasn't happened to me, and I always carry spares. The battery life when the lights are on the constant setting is pretty good, and roughly the same as what is stated by the maker. The build quality is decent, and changing the light settings is as easy as pressing a button on the back of the light casing. Fitting the lights is easy enough, and will require a screwdriver to tighten the brackets around the handlebars and seatpost. The only things I had problems with were opening the lights casing to put in the batteries (they are included), and getting the front light to fit around my handlebars. I may have slightly larger handlebars than average, but I had to remove the rubber strips that go in-between the handlebars and the bracket. They're obviously provided to stop the lights from sliding, but if you tighten the bracket enough this isn't an issue. These lights are great, they come with batteries included and are easy to fix to my bike (especially for a novice like myself). Arrived the next day and are cheap. I have recently started using these as winter has happened and 2 batteries ran out after 2 x 40min uses, this is my only complaint though as the lights are very bright (with good batteries) and have 3 settings - constant, flashing and more intermittent - they are easy to remove if you are locking the bike up outside

These bike lights are great for being seen whilst cycling in the city. They are relatively powerful and let you choose between between normal, quick flash and slow flash patterns. In addition to this the battery life is long and the product is perfectly waterproof. Installation was relatively simple, the ring to attach the front light was nearly too small for the handle bars on my bike but I managed to fit them. I do not think these would be suitable for night time mountain biking or similar as they are relatively small and will probably not provide enough light in full darkness conditions. Overall these lights are fantastic value for money if you're looking to cycle in urban conditions.

These were really good price and easy to fit. Very bright light but one did stop working after a few hours, due to a loose connection. Saw some in a local shop for same price and they work perfect so think it was just bad luck. Arrived quick and well packaged.

Lights are essential so you need ones that are bright and easy to use. These are both. Bought for my teenage son who has had lights stolen before, these are perfect because he dismantles them when he arrives at this destination and slips them into his rucksack, which he always has. The rear lights in particular are quite bright and this is just as I'd want it. They also have multi settings so at night he uses the flashing light on quieter roads. They also came with batteries which was really impressive. And finally, the price is great. As an essential, I would have paid the full £15, but it was on sale for £7.99, so even better.

These bike lights work well for light usage (no pun intended), I use them mainly for cycling about 15 minutes around town each evening - the reason I need the lights is to make sure that I'm visible to cars, and for that, they work very well. The lights take AAA batteries (4 are included), which is very handy and I can recharge the batteries when they run out (I have to do a recharge about once a month). If you need a set of lights to help you see far ahead in the dark, however, I'd recommend paying a bit more to get a set that outputs more lumens. These are good for making you visible to cars, but they do not cast much light on the road in front so you can't see very far ahead. At £7.99 though, they're great value.

Opted for lights with replaceable batteries as rechargeable ones are junk once the batteries no longer charge. These are great, nice and bright, fitted perfectly and haven't moved. I like the fact the strobe setting increases battery life and makes you more visible to others.

Do not buy this

Con quel prezzo sono la soluzione migliore in assoluto (le acquistai a 6 euro circa). Batterie incluse, montaggio alla bici immediato, hanno resistito a una bella caduta e ai numerosi sobbalzi (le uso su una MTB). La luce posteriore rossa è ben visibile, così come la anteriore bianca ma non aspettatevi di illuminare tutta la strada con quella. Sarete visibili al meglio per i veicoli che incontrerete su strada ma di sicuro non è un faretto. Da quando ho comprato queste luci mi sento molto più sicuro e sono contento di non aver speso inutilmente 20+ euro per un kit che non faceva al caso mio.

Je n'avais pas de feu à mon vélo pour rouler de nuit. La lumière du feu avant éclaire à 2 m maximum. Pour rouler de nuit dans un endroit non éclairé, ce n'est pas très puissant malgré la présence de 2 piles AAA dans chaque boitier. Je n'ai pas testé l'étanchéité, car il n'a pas plu depuis de nombreuses semaines !
