(◕◡◕) Impressed - Very great workout for beginners up to advanced (◕◡◕)
LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY ETC: A rather hard set that can be used by beginners and more advanced and both for men and women. Many programs for different parts of the body so it's really valuable when it comes to the price and the amount of pratice sessions you get. Some sections are tough but can of course be done half and then you progress and build up. The workouts are done by Karen Gentz and Stephanie Oram is the instructor. Modifications are shown a lot if you aren't that strong and need that for the moment.COMPARENCE: I found this DVD production even better than most of Jillian Michaels DVDs I tried because Jillian Michaels can be so military, too focused on a sexy body and sexy clothes many times - This DVD set with "XTFMAX Personal Trainer" is not like that at all. It's a very inspiring DVD set with a lot of short and positive quotes between practice sets. The instructor is very positive and will keep you going. It's also good that it's just the instructor Stephanie and Karen on the set and not a whole bunch of super trained models in tight sexy clothes jumping around (too many people on the set is not good). This traing set also uses a timer that counts down the time for the whole practice session and for the smaller sets you do. At the end of each smaller set you'll be informed what the next upcoming practice will be so you can prepare.WHAT YOU NEED (you don't need all of these though but I would buy 1 - 4):1. A yoga mat is a must. Buy the thicker version for better back protection.2. You need some weights (I use 3 KG, 5 KG and 8 KG....the 8 KG is used very little) and the weights are all up to you. I suppose you only need two sets ranging from 2-5 KG depending on your strenght.3. You need a resistance band with handles (Karen uses black and that is the hardest resistance band color and she is very strong as you will see).4. Indoor shoes or not - You can use socks with the resistance band but I recommend a pair of indoor shoes so you will protect your feet during the practice to pull harder and also being able to wrap the resistance band around your feet for a harder pull.5. She uses a large fitness ball on the strenght sections and that ball is very practical but isn't a must.6. Finally she uses a step-up board on some sets but that isn't a must. I's used very little overall onb the sets.FINAL THOUGHTS: Overall a very great set that is not too easy and can help you loose much weight and be stronger. Very valuable when it comes to the price and the time you get and all different practices for your body. DVD production is really good but not "Hollywood" style like Jillian's latest DVDs (doesn't have to be Hollywood to be good - LOL :-) ). Before I started I watched through all the DVDs and with some fast forward and then I sat down and wrote my own training plan for the week. There is a training plan with this program but I mix with some other practices so I did not use it. Some sections are too hard for a beginner so pick the easy ones and then build up. So far so good
I haven't tried the whole DVD yet because I bought it just before I went on holiday.... I now need it more than ever (holiday weight 😂) but the few workouts I did initially were fab. They really got you moving and you could definitely feel the ache the next day.I Have a few workout dvd's by Stephanie and if this is as good as the rest then it will work wonders

Not as good as her other workouts but ok to mix up with other x train fix programs

Some exercices are bad for you
Some of the discs the sound is not matched up. So half the exercise has been done before the verbal instruction on what it is you are meant to be doing. This is probably okay if you can exercised while looking at the screen the whole time, but as form is key, it is impracticle. The discs that are okay I am using but can't get on with the othwr discs fo I don't use those.
