Great for my needs
I was looking for an LED light that lit up my face enough dad you could see me clearly and that it wasn't too bright that made me look white will try and good video myself on the go. It takes two AA batteries and it has three hot shoe mount that makes it nice to mount other accessories like a microphone as I do in these pictures. It is nice that it is adjustable meaning you can dim and brighten the light up and at full brightness it is plenty for what I'm looking for. I like this light but some may say that it's not bright enough for their needs but that's why there's different types of Lights with more LEDs. But for a single point and shoot light it will light you up plenty in pitch dark. The third picture is a picture of myself in a pitch dark room but with this LED light on and I think it lights up the room plenty to see me clearly and some of my background . I recommend this lights and I might get another one. The price for this light is very reasonable and it's well made.

A simple to use auxiliary light source
This item is simplicity itself. Simply insert two AA batteries, mount on your camera or light bar, turn on and that is it. It is ideal for close up work, producing more than sufficient light. If one is looking for room filling light, this is not it. When used for confined space or close up work, this does the job. The 6000K output produces well balanced color and natural "daylight" rendering. As they are quite inexpensive, multiple units can be mounted for larger area applications if that is necessary. Having accessory shoe receptacles on three sides is a nice feature to have.

Intro to video on the cheap
I've been a still photographer for years. My mentor told me I need to get into video. Not ready to rig up my DSLR just yet, but I have a new iPhone 15 - what better way to start. I bought a Ulanzi phone rig (ST-10) that I can use on a camera, light stand, tripod, or handle. Bought two of these lights to flank my phone using the the cold shoe slots on the rig. Why I like these lights: inexpensive, 49 dimmable LED's, cold shoe slots on 3 sides for expansion, but mainly: they take AA batteries. I have a huge investment in rechargeable AA's and chargers, don't need another charging infrastructure I have to support, so that works for me. What I don't like: I have an older 36-LED Genaray that is actually brighter. That said, it's not a big enough difference that I want to carry around the two dedicated batteries and the charger it takes (I did look for a matching Genaray before I bought the two Ulanzi's, but I don't think Genaray makes it anymore. So once again, I'm reviewing a product that takes more time to evaluate than I've actually spent with it. I could judge the brightness and the weight up front. As for the battery life, I gave it 5 stars because I swear by the eneloop rechargeable AA batteries I use. If I find that these lights drain the batteries more quickly than I expected I'll revise the star count

Great light, bright, long battery life!
I have 2 of these lights, and really like them. They work well for lighting up dark areas in videos. I am a YouTuber so lighting is important but I didn't want to spend a fortune on lights. I like how they use AA batteries no worrying about fancy proprietary batteries or special chargers. The brightness is good. I like the ability to adjust the brightness for different environments. One thing is that I would recommend to use some decent batteries. I used some cheap rayovac rechargeable batteries and my light got hot using them. I thought my light was faulty but no. It was the batteries that got hot. I used some Eneloop batteries and the results where great. Eneloop pro's are my recommendation. They last about 3 hours on a charge.

Its a bright light
This little light is bright. Battery seems a little quick to drain but for the intended purpose, the brightness of the light makes up for it.
