The Challenge - Shower cubicle black mould – scrub and destroy.I had developed a sick feeling whenever I went to shower as I had this constant companion during shower time – a very unwelcome companion BLACK MOULD!I had researched all over the internet, watched YouTube videos and even tried some old wives’ tales but nothing would even make a dent in getting rid of the mould.This was my last attempt before deciding to either remove all the grout and redo it, or remove all the tiles and replace the whole shower unit.Enter the HEROI placed my order in good faith, and did not really have any expectations as it sounded too good to be true. It was not cheap, but came with a 30 day money back guarantee so I felt I had nothing to lose, and if it actually worked it would be worth every penny. My order arrived within a couple of days, and then I unboxed the Hurricane Spin Scrubber and proceeded to charge it up.I left it on charge overnight, and when I noticed that the charge light was on permeant (informing me it was fully charged) I went into the bathroom armed with my Spin Scrubber and Cillit Bang – Black mould remover.This was a battle I intended to win, so fingers crossed I had finally found the answer.I sprayed the Cillit bang liberally over the grouting areas and left it for a few minutes to enable it to do its work. I had tried it before with a hand scrubber, but didn’t really make a noticeable difference.So, to the moment of truth. I connected the Spin Scrubber extension and the dome brush turned on the Spin Scrubber. I directed the brush into the grouting areas and then all over the tiles. At first I felt that the scrubber was not making a difference, and the failure feeling began to come over me, and then, just a minute or two later, I started to see white….I felt a relief and a joy all at the same time, as I could finally see an end to the mould that had become a mortal enemy in the shower.Spurred on by this glimmer of hope I continued. I covered the whole tiled area and after the Cillit Bang had drifted down into the shower tray, I started scrubbing down there and caused the mixture to foam up. I coated the brush with the foam, and repeated scrubbing the grout.Every time I applied a bit of pressure I could see it working.I spent about 40 minutes repeating the actions of applying Cillit Bang, spreading it into the mould areas and loading up the brush with foam that was collecting in the shower tray.Now for the reveal. I wiped down the tiles with a damp cloth to reveal that the mould had gone. This is doing the job for me,just needs you to make sure it gets a good going over on the areas needed.The power seems to be the cause,it's not as expected meaning it will take longer,and,needs charging after the first 30 mins use.At least this has now saving the bending down on hand and knees due to age which is why I bought it.one thing to know is don't force the brushes into place as they are a bit fiddly to get into place,overall it is working well.

So.. bought this to make my life easier.. charged it 20 hours initially and was so excited to use it.. cleaned my bathroom, removed limescales and cleaned pretty well.. however, after 30 mins of using, started to slow down and stops when pushed hard.. so my husband made my hurricane brush last longer by changing the batteries with a better, more powerful batteries..still rechargeable.. and works really well.. I actually had to stop cleaning and my hurricane cleaning brush has still power in it..so the main issue is the battery.. if you want to clean a lot of stuff, it will not be possible with the amount of power in it originally.. you have to wait for another 8hrs before you can use it.. JML should put stronger batteries to meet its purpose..the picture above shows 3 small batteries , 2AA , which was the original battery it came with.. I’m just saying..🤗

Bought this to help my Mum clean the bath. I've used it for the first time today, came with enough charge to clean the bath and wall tiles. So easy to use, loved that I could change the heads.Great length, didn't need to bend down.

Please don't waste your money on this, it works nothing like shown in the video. It's easy enough to put together, the parts are useful for all areas, but it's just not effective as a cleaning tool. You still have to lather up and clean with product, work with this, and then rinse off. I achieved better results just by using a cloth than I did this. Usually a fan of JML stuff, but avoid this one.

I got the extendable scrub buddi which is great, my cooker is spotless with little effort. Instead of spending ages scrubbing the top it is done quickly and efficiently. My only beef is a wee design flaw, it cannot be used with only the top shorter arm, the 2nd longer arm must be attached which is a bit of a pain if you're just doing say, a bathroom sink. Designer please note. Apart from that small complaint I would say I am pleased with it.

Excellent piece of equipment saves me bending down and cleans nicely.
