Does the job, no issues

Honestly, the hole maker attachment thingy that came with my super-duper, roughty-toughty, bells & whistles professional DeWalt drill was crap. So I get a cheap one off Amazon and it works first time, with no slipping or messing about. Recommended.

When it comes to buying a hole cutter these, ( I bought two, one 85mm and one 53mm) were considerably cheaper than others on line, some were over twice as expensive. This 85mm wasn't brilliant in that the centre drill shaft wasn't exactly central to the hole cutter itself. The other one was perfect in every way, but the 85 cut a very slight ellipse. I think this was " the one that got away" and wasn't representative of the product as a whole as I also bought the 53, which was perfect, the teeth were extremely well honed and cutting was fast. I was working on sheet metal the cutter didn't overheat or show any sign of wear or distress. Because it wasn't perfect I knocked off one star, but otherwise a very good and competitively priced product.

Just about does the job, clearly quite cheaply manufactured.

Very easy to use, love it. If you already have a hole and you're putting this in, it will be difficult to make the hole easily, just turn the drill down to low torque and let it create a crevice for itself to grip onto the surface and it'll make drilling a hole easier.
