Q: How shine is this product?

It’s like a hardish jelly. Doesn’t really shine once you’ve rubbed into your beard, I like it better than wax. So I use this from now on. It’s really firm. I’ve used a hairdryer on it at times, no shine what so ever. No harm in giving it a try.

Q: Has this broke anyones hair?

Not mine but it depends on your hair Tbh. Just don’t gel your hair all the time make sure you condition it once you wash it out and you should be good.
