I like it!!! I think a lot of people would be hesitant like I was when I was shopping for a laptop, mainly because of this brand. I didn’t know HKC at first but after doing research, I found that HKC do have a range of IT products in Europe. I decided to try it, as I was impressed with its specification and its affordable price. IPS Full HD screen, 4GB RMA, 32GB flash memory, Bluetooth, USB 3 port, HDMI. It has a micro-sd port and can use micro-sd cards up to 64GB for extra storage, which is an added convenience. It's been great so far. When you first get the laptop, there were no problems with set-up. Everything goes smoothly and it does everything it says it does. It is a 14" high resolution notebook, which is kind to my eyes when I watch movies on-line. This laptop is light and thin and also allows me to carry it around, and for me it's easier to get my job done by using a laptop with a keyboard than the tablet. The company even provides a 2 year warranty, which I think shows the company’s sincerity to provide the best of service for their customers. I used to stick with specific brands when looking for products, but after my experience with this HKC laptop, I have changed my point of view and you really shouldn’t judge a ‘laptop’ by only its ‘brand’. It is a reasonably low price to pay for what you got from this laptop.

When i received this product, it looked nice and smart. All was working well and was happy with my purchase, especially for the money. One day in 1 key not working, now 3 days in and 3 of the keys aren't working. Really quite annoying and am sending it back. Not sure if i will re order.

Returned as the processor is not powerful enough to support the OS / HD display. Was generally very slow, even unresponsive at times, when performing basic tasks.

Some keyboard keys have stopped working - can't successfully enter MS password - so won't allow me access. August 2017 Updated review - October 2017 - the keyboard glitch I experienced was possibly due to a Windows 10 upgrade that had not completed as the keyboard is now fully functioning. The trackpad is a little sluggish on occasion but the screen and general usability of the HKC is perfectly acceptable 1 * -> 3*s tbh it's good value for the price

I have been using this laptop for 2 months so far. Fantastic laptop when looking at quality/price ratio, I would say that the functionality of this laptop overcomes the price. The laptop is also quite fast so can easily do more tasks in one go due to its specifications. Screen delivers pretty decent picture when watching movies or browsing but wish could adjust brightness through the keyboard but not a big issue (if you have figured out how to do it let me know:) Camera does its job and is all right when Skyping with friends - no issues so far. Sound could be a little bit better as it does not perform as expected but fine for daily tasks. Anyway, plugged in my speakers or headphones and problem has been solved;). Speed of the laptop is impressive, no problems with loading whatsoever. Combination of this laptop and fibre broadband brings effortless browsing without interruption. I have been surprised how light and thin this laptop is. Its so easy to carry it around. Battery lasts approximately 4 hours (from my own experience) depending on tasks I do so be mindful when going for longer trips. When only reading on a lower brightness without background applications then a battery life can hit nearly 6 hours. The laptop is very quite, does not make any noise whatsoever when cooling inside. Does not overheat so can place it in my lap and write for hours. In overall this is a perfect laptop for a student or common daily tasks (emails, youtube, movies, essays). Very satisfied with this product and the price paid for it.

Great laptop but laptop keys have stop working only had it two months

I’d been looking a daily use, light weight and convenient for travelling laptop other than my current home laptop 17.3” notebook and my 10.1” Tablet, which with a too small screen and not easy to type and work on. After searching in Amazon HKC NT-14W has caught my attention, not only it has an incredible affordable price and also it’s specification as well.It has a great quality of screen for both work and entertainment - IPS Full HD ( 1920x 1080 high resolution), which is the best display in this range of price.4GB RMA navigates windows 10, browsing the web, watching videos on YouTube, 32GB eMMC and easily expanded up to 64GB with Micro-SD. It also features 2 USB ports ( 1x USB 3.0 of fast speed), mini HDMI and Micro SD, all these are more than sufficient for general use. The battery is reasonable good, allows for longer use too.I must admit after knowing all the big brands, HKC is an unfamiliar name for me, however after searching I’ve noticed they have also monitors available in the market and the brand seems being around in Europe for many years too. A Two year warranty from HKC is a bonus; it also gives the buyer a peace of mind in their quality.Given that it’s thin and slim design, works smoothly, I bought this version for only under £170, which is a budget laptop and value for money. I would recommend this laptop for light tasks users, It works fine for school/college and at work, moreover, with its perfect 14” not small and not too big size, lightweight Full HD, IPS display it’s great for watching video in anywhere, Plus it would be suitable for all the age group.

I am was very surprised by the quality of this laptop, considering the cost. It is sturdy, well made, light and functional. The processor is not the best and you will need to use extra storage. Considering that, if you need a computer for basic work or browsing this laptop might be of consideration.
